Abstract

Kemajuan suatu klub sepakbola akan berbanding lurus dengan pengelolaan sumber daya pemain yang terlibat di didalamnya. Salah satu rangkaian dalam manajemen sumber daya pemain adalah proses seleksi dalam penempatan pemain pada posisi tertentu. Adapun tujuan dari seleksi pemain adalah guna memudahkan pihak manajeman atau pelatih untuk pengambilan keputusan dalam penentuan kebijakan. Kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh pemain yang terdiri dari aspek teknikal, mental, dan fisik. Pada umumnya pemilihan atau penyeleksian pemain dipengaruhi oleh faktor subyektifitas pelatih, karna belum adanya penilaian secara kuantitatif setiap pemain dengan mempertimbangkan peran pemain dilapangan terhadap posisi yang dimiliki oleh setiap pemain. Penerapan metode profile matching pada sistem pendukung keputusan dapat memudahkan pelatih dalam pemilihan tim inti, dalam pengaturan pergantian pemain, memaksimalkan evaluasi pemain, dan proses penilaian menjadi objektif. Pemain yang ditempatkan adalah mereka yang paling mendekati profil posisi yang paling tepat sehingga dapat menjadi pemain berprestasi. Metode profile matching atau Analisis Gap Kompetensi merupakan proses membandingkan antara kompetensi pemain dengan kompetensi posisi yang ditentukan oleh klub sehingga dapat diketahui perbedaan kompetensinya (disebut Gap), semakin kecil Gap yang dihasilkan maka bobot nilainya semakin besar yang berarti memiliki peluang lebih besar untuk pemain untuk menempati posisi tertentu.---------- The progress of a football club will be directly proportional to the resource management of the players involved. One in a series of resource management is the player selection process in the placement of players at certain positions. The purpose of player selection is to facilitate coaches or managers in decision-making policy. Player’s competency is divided into technical aspects, mental, and physical. Generally, player selection affected by the subjective factor of the coach, because the lack of a quantitative assessment to each player by considering the player’s role in the field to the position they held. The implementation of profile-matching method in decision support systems can facilitate the coach in selecting the core team, choosing the substitutes, maximizing players evaluation and objectiviying the assessment process. Players with the closest profile will be placing the most appropriate position to be a better player. Profile matching method or Competency Gap analysis is the process of comparing the players competence with position’s competence determined by the club so the difference competence will be known(called Gap), the smaller the gap generated the greater the weight value which means it has a greater chance for players to occupy certain positions.
