    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pola komunikasi orang tua dalam membentuk kecerdasan interpersonal anak, yaitu kemampuan anak dalam memahami, merespons, dan menjalin hubungan sosial secara efektif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola komunikasi orang tua dengan kecerdasan interpersonal anak di Desa Cileunyi Ciparay. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Responden berjumlah tujuh puluh orang yang dipilih melalui simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner pola komunikasi orang tua efektif dan kuesioner kecerdasan interpersonal anak yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji korelasi, koefisien determinasi, dan uji regresi sederhana dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pola komunikasi efektif orang tua berhubungan positif dan berhubungan signifikan terhadap kecerdasan interpersonal anak. Semakin baik pola komunikasi yang dibangun orang tua, semakin tinggi pula kemampuan anak dalam berinteraksi, memahami perasaan orang lain, dan menjalin hubungan sosial yang sehat. Temuan penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar orang tua membangun komunikasi yang efektif, lebih terbuka, hangat, dan konsisten dengan anak, karena pola komunikasi yang baik terbukti mampu meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam berinteraksi, memahami perasaan orang lain, serta menjalin hubungan sosial yang sehat. This research is motivated by the importance of parents' communication patterns in shaping children's interpersonal intelligence, which refers to children's ability to understand, respond to, and establish effective social relationships. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between parents' communication patterns and children's interpersonal intelligence in Ciheulang Ciparay Village. The method used is quantitative research with a correlational approach. A total of seventy respondents were selected using simple random sampling. The research instruments consisted of a valid and reliable questionnaire on parents' effective communication and a questionnaire on children's interpersonal intelligence. Data analysis was performed using normality tests, correlation tests, coefficient of determination, and simple regression tests with the assistance of SPSS software. The results of the study show that parents' effective communication has a positive and significant relationship with children's interpersonal intelligence. The better the communication established by parents, the higher the children's ability to interact, understand others' feelings, and establish healthy social relationships. The findings of this study recommend that parents establish effective, open, warm, and consistent communication with their children, as good communication patterns are proven to enhance children's ability to interact, understand others' feelings, and maintain healthy social relationships.
