    Abstract

    Implementasi Building Information Modeling (BIM) di industri konstruksi khususnya di Indonesia hingga kini masih belum merata, sedangkan teknologi ini telah menjadi tuntunan penting dalam mendukung efisiensi dan akurasi proses perencanaan hingga pelaksanaan proyek. Kondisi ini menuntut perguruan tinggi untuk membentuk mahasiswa yang berkompetensi dengan kebutuhan industri. Dengan demikian, upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah melalui mata kuliah BIM yang menggunakan model Project-Based Learning (PjBL) untuk membangun keterampilan teknis hingga pemahaman metodologi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengevaluasi penerapan model PjBL pada mata kuliah BIM sebagai landasan penguatan kompetensi mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan instrumen berupa angket skala likert dan dokumentasi. Responden penelitian mencakup seluruh mahasiswa Angkatan 2022 yang mengampu mata kuliah BIM. hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa penerapan model PjBL dinilai efektif dengan peroleh persentase sebesar 78,58%. Aspek Pemahaman BIM dan Metodologi menyumbang kontribusi terbesar sebesar 79,39%, sedangkan aspek Evaluasi Pengalaman Belajar memperoleh persentase terkecil sebesar 77,59%. Ketuntasan tugas mendukung hasil temuan ini, dengan peroleh jumlah huruf mutu A mencapai 26%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PjBL pada mata kuliah BIM efektif dan relevan, serta berpotensi memperkuat kompetensi mahasiswa dalam memenuhi kebutuhan industri konstruksi berbasis BIM. The implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the construction industry, particularly in Indonesia, is still uneven, even though this technology has become an essential requirement to support efficiency and accuracy in both project planning and execution. This condition requires universities to prepare students with competencies aligned with industry needs. One effort to address this is through the BIM course that applies the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model to develop technical skills and understanding og methodologies. This study aims to evaluate the application of the PjBL model in the BIM course as a foundation for strengthening students competencies. The research method used was quantitive descriptive with instruments in the form of a Likert scale questionnaire ans documentation. The respondents were all students from the 2022 cohort enrolled in the BIM course. The results revealed that the implementation of the PjBL model was considered effective, with an overall percentage of 78,58%. The BIM and Methodology Understanding aspect contributed the highest percentage at 79,39%, while the Learning Experience Evaluation aspect obtained the lowest percentage at 77,59% . Task completion supported these findings, with 26% of students achieving an A grade. These results indicate that the application of the PjBL model in the BIM course is is effective and relevant, and has the potential to strengthen student competencies to meet the demands of a BIM-based construction industry.
