    Abstract

    Pertumbuhan permukiman di wilayah pinggiran kota, termasuk Bojongsoang, menyebabkan perubahan penggunaan lahan yang berdampak pada penurunan kapasitas resapan air. Ruang terbuka hijau (RTH) berperan penting dalam mempertahankan fungsi hidrologis wilayah, khususnya dalam mendukung infiltrasi air ke dalam tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fungsi RTH sebagai area resapan air di BWP Bojongsoang, serta menjawab pertanyaan mengenai bagaimana ketersediaan RTH dan daya resapnya berubah dari tahun 2021 ke 2025. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode pemetaan spasial dan interpretasi visual. Data diperoleh melalui analisis citra resolusi tinggi, shapefile toponimi dan pola ruang, uji infiltrasi lapangan di 12 titik sampel, serta data sekunder berupa jenis tanah, curah hujan, dan kemiringan lereng. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa luas RTH mengalami penurunan, terutama pada ruang terbuka biru, akibat alih fungsi lahan menjadi permukiman. Analisis infiltrasi menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara resapan alami dan aktual, dengan penurunan kemampuan daya resap di wilayah yang telah terbangun. Wilayah dengan RTH alami seperti perkebunan rakyat dan kawasan konservasi masih memiliki kapasitas resapan yang tinggi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya perlindungan dan penambahan RTH untuk menjaga keseimbangan hidrologis wilayah. Penelitian ini memberikan dasar ilmiah bagi kebijakan pengelolaan RTH dan membuka ruang untuk penelitian lanjutan dengan model spasial prediktif. Urban expansion in peri-urban areas such as Bojongsoang has accelerated land use conversion, significantly reducing the natural capacity for water infiltration. Green open space (GOS) plays a critical role in maintaining hydrological functions by supporting the infiltration of surface water into the soil. This study aims to analyze the function of GOS as water infiltration zones in the Bojongsoang Planning Region and address how the availability and infiltration capacity of GOS have changed between 2021 and 2025. A descriptive-quantitative approach was employed, integrating spatial mapping and visual interpretation methods. Data collection involved high-resolution satellite imagery, toponym and spatial pattern shapefiles, field-based infiltration testing at 12 sampling points, and secondary data on soil type, annual rainfall, and slope gradient. Findings reveal a decline in GOS coverage, primarily due to the conversion of blue open space, such as rice fields, into residential areas. The infiltration analysis indicates a significant gap between natural and actual infiltration capacities, particularly in built-up zones with impervious surfaces. In contrast, areas with natural land cover, such as community gardens and conservation zones, exhibit high infiltration potential. The study concludes that preserving and expanding green open space is essential for sustaining local hydrological balance. These results provide a scientific basis for spatial planning policies and offer direction for future research using predictive spatial modeling.
