Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh keadaan pembelajaran di sekolah yang sering terkendala alat yang kurang memadai, materi yang diberikan terlalu monoton, cuaca, minat, dan motivasi. Dengan kendala ini seringkali siswa terabaikan sehingga siswa kurang bergerak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sejauhmana aktivitas handball like games dalam pembelajaran penjas berdampak positif untuk meningkatakan kemampuan gerak dasar manipulatif (lempar tangkap). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus dengan program handball like games. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas V SDN Nengkelan yang berjumlah 33 orang. Instrumen yang diguanaka yaitu GPAI (Games Performance Assisment Instrumen). Hasil observasi awal menunjukan bahwa siswa sangat kurang dalam melakukan gerak dasar lempar tangkap dalam pembelajaran, hal ini ditunjukan dengan nilai persentase 35,18% untuk aspek melempar dan 33,83% untuk menangkap, dengan rata-rata 34,51%. Yang seharusnya 75% dari seluruh aspek. Selanjutnya hasil siklus 1 tindakan 1 dengan nilai persentase 44,10% untuk aspek melempar dan 42,08% untuk menangkap, dengan rata-rata 43,09%. Kemudian hasil siklus 1 tindakan 2 dengan nilai persentase 54,20 untuk aspek melempar dan 53,36% untuk menangkap, dengan rata-rata 53,78%. Selanjunya hasil siklus 2 tindakan 1 dengan nilai persentase 69,02% untuk aspek melempar dan 68,35% untuk menangkap, dengan rata-rata 66,18. Hasil siklus 2 tindakan 2 dengan nilai persentase 77,10% untuk aspek melempar dan 75,75% untuk menangkap, dengan rata-rata 76,43%. Setelah melalui dua siklus rata-rata kemampuan gerak dasar melempar dan menagkap mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah kemampuan manipulatif lempar dan tangkap siswa melalui handball like games mengalami peningkatan. Kata kunci : Pendidikan Jasmani, Kemampuan Gerak Dasar Fundamental, Gerak Dasar Manipulatif, melempar dan menangkap, serta bola tangan. There are several backgrounds in this research such as incomplete facilities, monotonous materials, weather, interest and motivation. Those aspects lead to a situation where students are neglected and they have lack of physical movements. This research aims to know the effect of handball like games in physical education learning activities to increase basic manipulative movement ability as throw and catch. The method used in this research was classroom action research with two cycles of handball like games programs. The subjects of this research were 33 5th grade students of SDN Nengkelan. Instrument used in this research was GPAI (Games Performance Assessment Instrument). The beginning observation showed that students had lack of abilities in throwing and catching. The percentage was 35, 18% for throwing and 33, 83% for catching. The average percentage was 34, 51% when the ideal percentage should be at least 75% for the whole aspects. The result of the 1st cycle action 1 was 44, 10% for throwing aspect and 42, 08% for catching with the rate of average was 43, 09%. The result of 1st cycle action 2 was 54, 20% for throwing and 53, 36% for catching with the rate of average was 53, 78%. In the 2nd cycle action 1, the result was 69.02% for throwing aspect and 68, 35% for catching with the average rate was 66, 18%. In 2nd cycle action 2 the result was 77, 10% for throwing aspect and 75, 75% for catching with average rate 76, 43%. After having two cycles, the average rate of students’ ability in throwing and catching significantly increased. This research concludes that handball like games has increased students’ manipulative movement ability.
