Abstract
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) merupaka pendekatan pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan konsep-konsep science, technology, engyneering and mathematics dalam suatu pembelajaran yang holistik dan terintegrasi dan memiliki tujuan agar peserta didik tertarik pada sains dan matematika serta dapat memberikan koneksi terhadap konsep bidang dan aplikasi dunia nyata. oleh karenanya, pendekatan pembelajaran STEM dapat menjadi alternatif dalam pemilihan pembelajaran. Dalam pelaksanaannya, pembelajaran STEM belum maksimal, diantaranya karena keterbatasan waktu dalam menyusun desain pembelajaran STEM, penggunaan teknologi (IT) bagi guru yang lanjut usia. Mengingat pentingnya pembelajaran konkret untuk peserta didik di SD, pembelajaran STEM menjadi alternatif dalam pemilihan pembelajaran karena pendekatan pembelajaran STEM dapat menggali potensi peserta didik, mengasah keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi dan komunikasi, serta merupakan pembelajaran aktif yang berpisat pada siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah EDR, dimana memiliki tiga tahapan, diantaranya Analisis dan Eksplorasi, Desain dan Kontruksi, Evaluasi dan Refleksi. Desain pembelajaran yang disusun berdasar sintak pembelajaran STEM, yakni Ask, Imagine, Plan, Create dan Improve disertai media pembelajaran Kotak Hologram. Desain pembelajaran ini dirancang sebagai penunjang pembelajaran yag digunakan beserta media Kotak Hologram. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) is a learning approach that integrates the concepts of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in a holistic and integrated learning and has the aim that students are interested in science and mathematics and can provide connections to the concepts of the field and real world applications. therefore, the STEM learning approach can be an alternative in the selection of learning. In its implementation, STEM learning has not been maximised, including due to limited time in preparing STEM learning designs, the use of technology (IT) for elderly teachers. Given the importance of concrete learning for students in elementary school, STEM learning is an alternative in choosing learning because the STEM learning approach can explore the potential of students, hone critical thinking skills, creativity, collaboration and communication, and is active learning that is student-centred. the research method used is EDR, which has three stages, including Analysis and Exploration, Design and construction, Evaluation and Reflection. The learning design is based on STEM learning syntax, namely Ask, Imagine, Plan, Create and Improve accompanied by Hologram Box learning media. This learning design is designed as a support for learning that is used along with the Hologram Box media.
