Abstract
Transformasi pendidikan tinggi dalam era Society 5.0 menuntut solusi inovatif yang mampu menjawab permasalahan rendahnya kualitas penulisan akademik di kalangan mahasiswa. STRIDE dikembangkan sebagai sebuah framework digital berbasis Artificial Intelligence yang dirancang untuk membantu proses revisi teks akademik secara terstruktur, konsisten, dan adaptif terhadap kebutuhan pengguna. Penelitian ini memiliki lima tujuan utama, yaitu: (1) mengidentifikasi tren riset terkini yang berkaitan dengan expert systems in education, (2) menganalisis kondisi aktual kemampuan menulis mahasiswa, (3) merancang dan mengembangkan platform STRIDE sesuai kebutuhan pengguna, (4) melakukan validasi terhadap konsep dan fungsionalitas sistem melalui penilaian panel ahli, serta (5) mengevaluasi pengalaman pengguna setelah menggunakan sistem. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada metode Design-Based Research (DBR) melalui tahapan analisis, desain, implementasi, dan refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui studi literatur, kuesioner, serta validasi sistem oleh dua panelis ahli. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa menghadapi tantangan dalam menyusun argumentasi logis, menjaga alur berpikir yang runtut, dan menerapkan gaya bahasa akademik yang sesuai. STRIDE menghadirkan tiga fitur utama, yaitu Stride AI Tools, Story Craft, dan Write Hub, yang saling terintegrasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas penulisan akademik. Validasi sistem menunjukkan bahwa STRIDE memenuhi standar kelayakan tinggi dari segi media dan fungsionalitas. Umpan balik pengguna mengindikasikan bahwa platform ini mudah digunakan dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap proses penulisan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam pengembangan media digital berbasis AI untuk meningkatkan literasi akademik secara menyeluruh di pendidikan tinggi. The transformation of higher education in the era of Society 5.0 demands innovative solutions to address the persistent issue of low-quality academic writing among students. STRIDE was developed as a digital framework powered by Artificial Intelligence, designed to support the structured, consistent, and adaptive revision of academic texts. This study aims to identify current research trends related to expert systems in education, analyze the existing condition of students’ academic writing skills, design and develop the STRIDE platform based on user needs, validate the concept and system functionality through expert review, and evaluate the user experience. The research follows a Design Based Research approach, involving stages of analysis, design, implementation, and reflection. Data were collected through literature review, questionnaires, and validation by two expert panelists. Findings indicate that students often struggle with constructing logical arguments, maintaining coherent flow of ideas, and applying appropriate academic language. STRIDE features three main components including Stride AI Tools, Story Craft, and Write Hub which work in an integrated manner to enhance writing quality. System validation results show a high level of feasibility in terms of both media and functionality. User feedback reveals that the platform is easy to use, responsive, and provides meaningful support for improving academic writing. This study provides a significant contribution to the development of Artificial Intelligence based digital media that promotes academic literacy in higher education settings. The implementation of STRIDE is expected to strengthen the integration of technology in learning and foster more effective academic communication among students and educators.
