    Abstract

    ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji transmisi kesenian Angklung Dog Dog Lojor melalui pendidikan informal di komunitas adat Kasepuhan Sinar Resmi, Kabupaten Sukabumi. Kesenian ini merupakan bagian integral dari ritual adat dan identitas budaya masyarakat Kasepuhan yang diwariskan secara turun-temurun di luar lembaga formal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pewarisan kesenian berlangsung secara bertahap melalui empat tahapan: pengenalan alat musik, observasi latihan dan pertunjukan, pelatihan langsung, serta keterlibatan dalam pertunjukan adat. Pola transmisi berlangsung secara vertikal dan oblique, dengan dukungan suasana belajar yang terbuka, partisipatif, dan berbasis komunitas. Pembelajaran ini tidak hanya berorientasi teknis, tetapi juga mengandung nilai spiritual, sosial, dan filosofis masyarakat adat. Temuan dianalisis dengan teori experiential learning (Kolb), social learning (Bandura), communities of practice (Lave & Wenger), serta konsep pendidikan informal dan transmisi budaya menurut Koentjaraningrat. Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa pendidikan informal berbasis komunitas mampu melestarikan kesenian tradisional sekaligus membentuk identitas budaya generasi muda. Kata Kunci: transmisi budaya, pendidikan informal, angklung dog dog lojor, kasepuhan sinar resmi ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the transmission of Angklung Dog Dog Lojor art through informal education in the Kasepuhan Sinar Resmi indigenous community, Sukabumi Regency. This art form is an integral part of the traditional rituals and cultural identity of the Kasepuhan community, which has been passed down from generation to generation outside of formal institutions. This study employs a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the transmission of art occurs gradually through four stages: introduction to musical instruments, observation of practice and performances, direct training, and involvement in traditional performances. The transmission pattern occurs vertically and obliquely, supported by an open, participatory, and community- based learning environment. This learning is not only technically oriented but also contains the spiritual, social, and philosophical values of the indigenous community. The findings were analyzed using the theories of experiential learning (Kolb), social learning (Bandura), communities of practice (Lave & Wenger), as well as the concepts of informal education and cultural transmission according to Koentjaraningrat. The research findings confirm that community-based informal education is capable of preserving traditional arts while shaping the cultural identity of the younger generation.
