Abstract

ABSTRAK PT XYZ adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang logistik yang memiliki beberapa bidang usaha yang mencakup pergudangan, distribusi, freight forwarding dan customs clearance. Penelitian ini berfokus pada bidang usaha freight forwarding karena bidang usaha ini yang menghasilkan penghasilan tertinggi. Perusahaan ini mengalami masalah yaitu belum adanya perhitungan sistematis untuk pemilihan vendor truk pada jasa freight forwarding-nya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis urutan prioritas kriteria, sub-kriteria, dan peringkat alternatif calon vendor untuk pemilihan vendor truk pada operasional freight forwarding PT XYZ. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan instrumen berupa wawancara dan kuesioner, serta menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) sebagai metode perhitungannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kriteria dan sub-kriteria dengan bobot prioritas tertinggi adalah kriteria reputasi perusahaan (legalitas perusahaan lebih tinggi dari pengalaman vendor), diikuti kriteria biaya (biaya pengiriman lebih tinggi dari biaya asuransi), kemudian kriteria armada (spesifikasi armada lebih tinggi dari kuantitas armada), dan kriteria pelayanan (lead time lebih tinggi dari monitoring). Hasil penelitian dalam penentuan bobot final dari keempat alternatif vendor truk pada jasa freight forwarding menunjukkan bahwa Vendor H menempati prioritas utama, diikuti oleh Vendor F, kemudian Vendor G, dan Vendor I sebagai prioritas terakhir. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam level kriteria, reputasi perusahaan memberikan pengaruh yang paling besar dalam pengambilan keputusan. This study focuses on the freight forwarding sector, as it generates the highest revenue for the company. Currently, the company faces an issue due to the absence of a systematic approach in selecting trucking vendors for its freight forwarding operations. The purpose of this study is to analyze the prioritization of criteria, sub-criteria, and the ranking of alternative vendor candidates for trucking vendor selection in PT XYZ's freight forwarding operations. This research was conducted using a descriptive quantitative method with instruments such as interviews and questionnaires, and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was employed for the calculations. The results of the study indicate that the criterion and sub-criterion with the highest priority weights are company reputation (with company legality ranking higher than vendor experience), followed by cost (with delivery cost ranking higher than insurance cost), fleet (with fleet specifications ranking higher than fleet quantity), and service (with lead time ranking higher than monitoring). The final weight results for the four trucking vendor alternatives in freight forwarding services show that Vendor H holds the highest priority, followed by Vendor F, then Vendor G, and Vendor I as the lowest priority. These findings indicate that, at the criteria level, company reputation has the greatest influence in the decision-making process. Keywords: AHP; Freight Forwarding; Trucking; Vendor; Weight
