    Abstract

    Terdapat permasalahan yang umum ditemukan pada pergudangan, salah satunya terkait dengan tata kelola barang. Permasalahan tata letak barang yang tidak sesuai menyebabkan penumpukan barang, sehingga barang tersimpan lama dan menyebabkan tingginya biaya penyimpanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancangan ulang tata letak gudang barang dan melakukan komparasi antara layout eksisting dan layout usulan untuk mengetahui layout yang paling baik dari segi efisiensi jarak tempuh dan penggunaan ruang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode dedicated storage untuk merancang ulang tata letak dan rectilinear distance untuk mengetahui total jarak. Pada layout usulan penempatan area penyimpanan, area sortir, dan I/O telah dirancang agar saling berdekatan dan membentuk alur pergerakan yang lebih terpusat. Perbandingan total jarak tempuh antara layout eksisting dan usulan menunjukan adanya penurunan jarak, layout eksisting menghasilkan total jarak tempuh 190,38 m, sedangkan layout usulan menghasilkan total jarak tempuh 134,11 m. Perbedaan ini menunjukan adanya pengurangan jarak sebesar 56,27 m atau sekitar 29,56% lebih efisien dibandingkan dengan kondisi awal, serta penggunaan ruang layout usulan memperbanyak penyimpanan pallet sebesar 25,30%. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa layout usulan meningkatkan efisiensi jarak tempuh dan penggunaan ruang pada gudang. Dengan demikian tata letak gudang usulan yang dirancang dengan kombinasi metode dedicated storage dan rectilinear distance dapat lebih efisien. There are common problems found in warehousing, one of which is related to inventory management. Problems with improper inventory layout cause inventory buildup, resulting in long storage times and high storage costs. This study aims to redesign the warehouse layout and compare the existing layout with the proposed layout to determine the most efficient layout in terms of travel distance and space utilization. The study employs the dedicated storage method for redesign and the rectilinear distance method to calculate total distance. In the proposed layout, the storage area, sorting area, and I/O area have been designed to be close to each other and form a more centralized movement flow. The comparison of total travel distance between the existing and proposed layouts shows a reduction in distance, with the existing layout resulting in a total travel distance of 190.38 m, while the proposed layout results in a total travel distance of 134.11 m. This difference indicates a reduction in distance of 56.27 m, or approximately 29.56% more efficient than the initial condition, and the proposed layout's space utilization increases pallet storage by 25.30%. This proves that the proposed layout improves the efficiency of travel distance and space utilization in the warehouse. Thus, the proposed warehouse layout, designed with a combination of dedicated storage and rectilinear distance methods, can be more efficient.
