Abstract
Pantai santolo yang terletak di Kabupaten Garut, Jawa Barat, memiliki gelombang tinggi dari laut Selatan Jawa yang mengganggu aktivitas pelabuhan dan perikanan. Bangunan pengaman pantai berupa jetty yang telah ada sudah tidak mampu meredam gelombang dari berbagai arah secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan redesign bangunan pengaman pantai yang lebih efektif untuk meredam gelombang. Metode penelitian ini meliputi studi pustaka, survei lapangan dan analisis data sekunder berupa data angin, pasang surut, topografi dan bathimetri. Data angin yang digunakan dalam peramalan gelombang untuk mendapatkan tinggi, periode, dan arah gelombang. Data pasang surut dianalisis untuk menentukan elevasi muka air laut rencapna dan elevasi puncak bangunan. Analisis gelombang dilakukan menggunakan software Mike 21 untuk simulasi pemodelan gelombang dan menghasilkan desain layout bangunan pantai. Hasil simulasi menggunakan Mike 21 menghasilkan layout eksisting yang masih mengalami gangguan gelombang dan solusi efektif dalam meredam gelombang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang Dilakukan digunakan material lapis lindung tetrapod dengan kemiringan 1:2, elevasi puncak +5 m, lebar puncak 2 m, dan tinggi bangunan 10 m. Hasil analisis bangunan pengaman pantai dengan jetty baru terbukti lebih efektif dalam meredam gelombang dibanding kondisi eksisting. Santolo Beach, located in Garut Regency, West Java, experiences high waves from the South Java Sea that disrupt port and fishing activities. The existing jetty-type coastal protection structure is no longer able to optimally reduce waves from various directions. This study aims to redesign more effective coastal protection structures to reduce waves. The research methods include literature review, field survey, and analysis of secondary data such as wind, tide, topography, and bathymetry data. Wind data is used in wave forecasting to obtain wave height, period, and direction. Tidal data was analyzed to determine the planned sea level elevation and the elevation of the structure's crest. Wave analysis was performed using Mike 21 software for wave modeling simulation and to produce a coastal structure layout design. The simulation results using Mike 21 produced an existing layout that still experiences wave disturbance and an effective solution for wave attenuation. Based on the analysis results, tetrapod protective layer material with a slope of 1:2, crest elevation of +5 m, crest width of 2 m, and building height of 10 m was used. The analysis results of the coastal protection structure with a new jetty proved to be more effective in reducing waves than the existing conditions.
