    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh intake madu pada tahap persiapan khusus terhadap asam laktat, kecepatan reaksi, kelincahan, dan daya ledak otot lengan atlet tenis meja PTM Family Plus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode true exsperimental dengan desain pre-test post-test control group design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 14 atlet tenis meja PTM Family Plus yang dipilih dengan teknik sampling jenuh dan dibagi menjadi dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen (intake madu) dan kelompok kontrol (tanpa madu). Pengolahan data menggunakan teknik Independent Sample T-Test. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi Accutrend Lactate untuk mengukur asam laktat, Ruler Drop Test untuk kecepatan reaksi, Side Step Test untuk kelincahan, dan Two Hand Medicine Ball Put untuk daya ledak otot lengan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intake madu memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel asam laktat (p = 0.003), Namun, tidak ditemukan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kecepatan reaksi (p = 0.308), kelincahan (p = 0.718) dan daya ledak otot lengan (p = 0.0489), dengan rata-rata N-gain lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol., meskipun kelompok madu menunjukkan rata-rata N-gain lebih tinggi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa intake madu pada tahap persiapan khusus memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penurunan kadar asam laktat, namun tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kecepatan reaksi, kelincahan, dan daya ledak otot lengan atlet tenis meja. This study aims to determine the effect of honey intake during the special preparation stage on lactic acid, reaction speed, agility, and explosive power of the arm muscles of PTM Family Plus table tennis athletes. This study employed a true experimental method with a pre-test post-test control group design. The research subjects consisted of 14 PTM Family Plus table tennis athletes selected using a saturated sampling technique and divided into two groups: the experimental group (honey intake) and the control group (no honey). Data processing was performed using the Independent Sample T-Test technique. The instruments used included Accutrend Lactate to measure lactate, Ruler Drop Test for reaction speed, Side Step Test for agility, and Two Hand Medicine Ball Put for arm muscle power. The results showed that honey intake had a significant effect on the lactate variable (p = 0.003). However, no significant effect was found on reaction speed (p = 0.308), agility (p = 0.718) and arm muscle explosive power (p = 0.0489), with a higher average N-gain compared to the control group, even though the honey group showed a higher average N-gain. It can be concluded that honey intake during the special preparation stage had a significant effect on reducing lactate levels, but did not have a significant effect on reaction speed, agility, and arm muscle power in table tennis athletes.
