    Abstract

    Tidak adanya metode pengambilan keputusan yang sistematis menjadi salah satu faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap keterlambatan pengiriman pada kegiatan freight forwarding di PT. Ritra Cargo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan prioritas kriteria dan subkriteria serta merekomendasikan alternatif shipping line terbaik menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran angket kepada empat responden dari Divisi Freight. Terdapat empat kriteria utama yang dianalisis, yaitu Cost, Reliability, Service Quality, dan Capacity, dengan 11 subkriteria penilaian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kriteria Reliability menjadi prioritas utama, diikuti Service Quality, Cost, dan Capacity. Subkriteria dengan bobot tertinggi adalah Competitive Cost, diikuti On-Time Delivery, Space Availabiliy, dan Schedule Reliability, menunjukkan fokus pada keandalan layanan, kualitas operasional, dan efisiensi biaya. Dari enam alternatif shipping line yang dianalisis, ONE (Ocean Network Express) memperoleh bobot global tertinggi dan direkomendasikan sebagai mitra terbaik. The absence of a systematic decision-making method has been identified as a contributing factor to shipment delays in PT. Ritra Cargo’s freight forwarding operations. This study aims to determine the priority of criteria and sub-criteria and recommend the best shipping line alternative using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to four respondents from the Freight Division. Four main criteria were analysed Cost, Reliability, Service Quality, and Capacity supported by 11 assessment sub-criteria. The results indicate that Reliability is the highest priority criterion, followed by Service Quality, Cost, and Capacity. Among the sub-criteria, Competitive Cost carries the highest weight, followed by On-Time Delivery, Space Availability, and Schedule Reliability, highlighting a focus on service reliability, operational quality, and cost efficiency. Of the six shipping line alternatives assessed, ONE (Ocean Network Express) achieved the highest global weight and is recommended as the best partner. Accordingly, Reliability and the shipping line ONE are established as the primary criterion and the top alternative in the shipping line selection process at PT. Ritra Cargo.
