Abstract
Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh adanya kegiatan agribisnis yang dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren Al-Ittifaq dengan tujuan untuk mencetak santri agar mandiri dalam perekonomian sehingga berdampak pada kesejahteraan santri karena mampu memenuhi kebutuhan hidup.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) Bentuk program pemberdayaan para santri melalui kegiatan agribisnis proses kegiatan agribisnis di Pesantren Al-Ittifaq.2) Gambaran partisipasi dalam kegiatan agribisnis di Pesantren Al-Itifaq. 3) Hasil kegiatan agribisnis di Pesantren Al-Ittifaq dalam upaya kesejahteraan dalam kehidupan para santri setelah lulus. 4)Faktor-faktor yang menjadi pendukung dan penghambat dari kegiatan agribisnis. Kajian teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari konsep pemberdayaan masyarakat, konsep kesejahteraan, konsep agribisnis, konsep pesantren dan konsep pendidikan luar sekolah sebagai upaya peningkatan sosial-ekonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak lima orang yaitu pengelola bidang agribisnis, dua orang santri, dua orang alumni santri. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan triangulasi. Penelitian di Pondok Pesantren Al- Ittifaq dilaksanakan pada Bulan September 2014. Hasil penelitian mendeskripsikan: 1) Bentuk program pemberdayaan yang dilaksanakan yaitu santri terlibat dalam setiap kegiatan agribisnis, dimulai dari proses produksi (kebun), pengemasan, dan pemasaran. 2) Partisipasi yang diberikan santri dalam kegiatan agribisnis yaitu partisipasi tenagadan partisipasi pemikiran. Secara sukarela sebagai bentuk pengabdian kepada lembaga pesantren 3)Hasil kegiatan agribisnisbagi santri yang telah lulus berdampak pada tingkat kesejahteraan yaitu alumni santri mempunyai penghasilan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan primer serta memenuhi kebutuhan lainnya seperti mengelola keuangan, memenuhi kebutuhan pendidikan, kesehatan dan ikut berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan masyarakat. 4) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat dari pelaksanaan kegiatan agribisnis yaitu faktor cuaca, lembaga pesantren, mitra usaha, masyarakat sangat mendukung dalam kegiatan agribisnis. Hambatan dalam kegiatan agribisnis yaitu masih kurangnya sumber daya manusia dalam melaksanakan kegiatan agribisnis, tidak ada dukungan modal dari pemerintah, dan mitra usaha yang tidak membayar langsung saat produk dikirim. Kata Kunci : Pemberdayaan, Agribisnis, Kesejahteraan This study is backgrounded with the presence of agribusiness activities done at Pondok Pesantren Al-Ittifaq which aims at forming the pupils who are independent in the economy that affects the students’ welfare as they are able to fulfill their needs. This study aims to find out 1) forms of empowerment of the islamic pupils through the process of agribusiness activities at Pesantren Al-Ittifaq, 2)overviews of participation of agribusiness activities at Pesantren Al-Itifaq, 3) the results of agribusiness activities at Pesantren Al-Ittifaq in welfare efforts in the lives of the pupils after graduation, and 4) supporting and inhibiting factors of this agribusiness activities. Theoretical study used in this study consists of community empowerment concept, welfare concept,agribusiness concept, pesantren concept, and out-of-school educational concept as efforts to improve socio-economy. This study employed descriptive research method with qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were 5 people, namely an agribusiness manager, two Islamic pupils, and two alumni of the pesantren. Data collecting techniques apllied were observation, interview, documentative study, and triangulation. The study was conducted at Pondok Pesantren Al-Ittifaq, on September 2014. The result of the study shows that 1) the form of empowerment program done is the pupils are involved in every agribusiness activity, starting from production process (the garden), packaging, and marketing, 2) participation guven by the pupils in agribusiness activity is in the form of manpower and thoughts Voluntarily as a form of devotion to the pesantren institution, 3) the result of agribusiness activities for the graduated pupils affects the level of welfare, namely the alumni have income to fulfill their primary needs and other needs such as managing finance, fulfilling the needs of education and health, and participating in community activities. The supporting factors of the implementation of agribusiness activities are weather factors, thepesantreninstitution, business partners, and the local community is very supportive in this agribusiness activities. The inhibiting factors of the agribusiness activies are the lack of human recources in doing the activities, no capital support from the government, and business partners who do not pay directly when the product is shipped.
