Abstract
Membaca teks cerita anak merupakan pembelajaran yang terdapat dalam kompetensi dasar kelas VII SMP di KTSP. Kompetensi dasar pembelajaran ini menuntut siswa untuk bisa menemukan realitas kehidupan anak yang terkandung dalam cerita anak. Dalam menemukan realitas kehidupan anak, siswa perlu memahami secara mendalam cerita anak yang dibacanya. Pemahaman tersebut dapat diperoleh melalui penerapan model pembelajaran yang dapat mengarahkan siswa untuk mengkaji cerita anak secara mendalam. Oleh karena itu, model Skrip Kooperatif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran membaca teks cerita anak. Model Skrip Kooperatif mengarahkan siswa untuk memahami cerita secara mendalam karena proses pemahamannya melalui beberapa tahap. Tahap awal, siswa akan membaca cerita anak secara individu dan mereka perlu memahami ihktisar ceritanya. Setelah itu, siswa akan berpasangan membahas cerita anak yang mereka baca. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen kuasi dengan desain pretest-postest control group design. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis melalui uji-t, diperoleh nilai thitung > ttabel, yaitu 5,29 ≥ 2,000. Dengan demikian, Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya model pembelajaran Skrip Kooperatif efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran membaca teks cerita anak. Kata kunci : Membaca teks cerita anak, cerita anak, Skrip Kooperatif. Reading children’s stories texts is a learning contained in basic competencies for seventh grade students in KTSP. This basic competency of learning requires students to be able to find the reality of a child's life contained in children’s stories. In discovering the reality of children's lives, students need to deeply understand the children’s story they read. Such understanding can be achieved through the application of learning models that can lead students to examine children's story in depth. Therefore, the Cooperative Script Model is applied in learning of children's stories texts reading. Cooperative Scripts Model directs students to understand the story in depth due process of understanding through several stages. The initial phase, students will read the children’s story individually and they need to understand the overview of the story. After that, students will pair up to discuss the children's stories they read. The method used in this study is the quasi-experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design. Based on the hypothesis testing via t-test, it results in t> t table, which is 5.29 ≥ 2.000. Thus, Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, which means Cooperative Script is effective to be applied in learning children’s stories text reading.
