    Abstract

    Krisis iklim global membawa dampak serius pada ekosistem laut, salah satunya pemanasan laut yang berpengaruh pada migrasi ikan, penurunan hasil tangkapan, serta ketahanan pangan manusia. Siswa sekolah dasar perlu memahami isu ini, namun tingkat literasi sains mereka masih rendah sehingga kesulitan menjelaskan konsep abstrak seperti hubungan antara aktivitas manusia dan perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis motion graphic yang membahas isu pemanasan laut dengan menyoroti perubahan suhu laut, migrasi ikan, penurunan kualitas gizi ikan, serta dampaknya terhadap kehidupan manusia. Pengembangan media mengacu pada capaian pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) kelas VI, khususnya elemen Bumi dan Antariksa yang berfokus pada pemahaman hubungan antara tindakan manusia dan perubahan sistem alam. Desain visual media disesuaikan dengan kemampuan kognitif siswa sekolah dasar, melalui ilustrasi sederhana dan narasi komunikatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah design and development research (DDR), dengan instrumen pengukuran berupa skala Likert. Uji coba dilakukan di SD Laboratorium UPI Cibiru dengan melibatkan 37 siswa kelas VI yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa media ini mampu menyampaikan topik pemanasan laut dengan baik, dengan skor kelayakan sebesar 88,37%. Temuan ini mendukung pengembangan media pembelajaran kontekstual yang mengintegrasikan isu lingkungan secara komprehensif. --------- The global climate crisis has brought serious impacts on marine ecosystems, one of which is ocean warming that affects fish migration, declining catches, and food security. Elementary school students need to understand this issue; however, their level of scientific literacy remains low, making it difficult for them to grasp abstract concepts such as the relationship between human activities and environmental changes. This study aims to develop an instructional medium in the form of motion graphics that addresses ocean warming by highlighting rising sea temperatures, fish migration, declining nutritional quality of fish, and its impacts on human life. The development is aligned with the learning outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) for sixth grade, particularly the Earth and Space element, which focuses on understanding the link between human actions and changes in natural systems. The visual design is adjusted to the cognitive abilities of elementary students through simple illustrations and communicative narration. The research employed a design and development research (DDR) approach with a Likert scale as the measurement instrument. A trial was conducted at SD Laboratorium UPI Cibiru involving 37 sixth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. The evaluation results show that the media effectively conveyed the topic of ocean warming, with a feasibility score of 88.37%. These findings support the development of contextual learning media that comprehensively integrates environmental issues.
