    Abstract

    Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter dan perilaku sosial siswa. Di tengah krisis moral yang terjadi di kalangan pelajar, diperlukan strategi khusus untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai keagamaan sejak dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran kegiatan keagamaan PECIMAS (Pelajar Cinta Masjid) dalam membentuk dan mentransformasi perilaku sosial siswa di SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, display data, kesimpulan dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kegiatan PECIMAS di SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk dan mentransformasi perilaku sosial siswa melalui interaksi yang sarat makna; (2) Kegiatan PECIMAS di SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI mengalami tantangan dan hambatan seperti rendahnya motivasi dan kesadaran sebagian siswa, kurangnya keteladanan yang konsisten dan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kolaboratif yang mengedepankan pembiasaan, keteladanan dan interaksi yang intensif; (3) strategi yang ditempuh seperti pendekatan simbolik melalui rutinitas keagamaanm pembentukan keteladanan guru dan fasilitator, pelibatan aktif siswa dalam kegiatan, serta integrasi nilai-nilai religius ke dalam budaya sekolah, mampu menjadi upaya efektif dalam mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Education plays a vital role in shaping students’ character and social behavior. Amidst the ongoing moral crisis among students, specific strategies are needed to instill religious values from an early age. This study aims to examine the role of the PECIMAS (Pelajar Cinta Masjid) religious activity program in shaping and transforming students’ social behavior at SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results of the study indicate that: (1) PECIMAS activities at SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI have proven to play an important role in shaping and transforming students’ social behavior through meaningful interactions; (2) The implementation of PECIMAS faces several challenges and obstacles, such as low motivation and awareness among some students, and inconsistent role modeling. However, theses issues are addressed through a collaborative approach that emphasizes habituation, exemplary behavior and intensive interaction; (3) Strategies such as symbolic approaches through religious routines the formation of exemplary teachers and the integration of religious values into the school culture have proven to be effective in overcoming these challenges.
