    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model project based learning dalam konteks pembelajaran sains untuk melihat sejauh mana model ini dapat mengoptimalkan kreativitas anak khususnya pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian dilakukan di TK Joy Kids National Plus Tasikmalaya dengan sampel dari seluruh populasi kelompok B berjumlah 20 anak yang terdiri dari 10 anak di kelas eksperimen dan 10 anak di kelas kontrol. Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif metode quasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian ini yaitu nonequivalent control group desain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun di kelas eksperimen meningkat dari kategori sedang dengan rata-rata skor 6,4 menjadi tinggi dengan rata-rata skor 14,9 setelah diterapkan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam pembelajaran sains. Sebaliknya, di kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan PjBL, peningkatan hanya dari rata-rata 6,4 menjadi 10,5 dan tetap berada pada kategori sedang. Efektivitas pembelajaran PjBL ditunjukkan dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,895 dengan kategori tinggi, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,429 dengan kategori sedang. Uji perbedaan efektivitas menunjukkan hasil signifikan (sig = 0,003 < 0,05), yang mengindikasikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan efektivitas pembelajaran antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam pembelajaran sains terhadap kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Joy Kids National Plus Tasikmalaya. This study aims to examine the effect of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in the context of science learning to determine the extent to which this model can optimize children's creativity, particularly among children aged 5–6 years. The research was conducted at Joy Kids National Plus Kindergarten, Tasikmalaya, with a sample drawn from the entire population of Group B, consisting of 20 children, divided into 10 in the experimental class and 10 in the control class. Employing a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a nonequivalent control group design, the findings revealed that the average creativity of children aged 5–6 years in the experimental class increased from the medium category, with an average score of 6.4, to the high category, with an average score of 14.9, after the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in science learning. In contrast, the control class, which did not use PjBL, showed an increase only from an average score of 6.4 to 10.5, remaining in the medium category. The effectiveness of PjBL was indicated by an N-Gain value of 0.895, which falls into the high category, whereas the control class obtained an N-Gain of 0.429, categorized as medium. Furthermore, the test of difference in effectiveness showed a significant result (sig = 0.003 < 0.05), indicating that there was a significant difference in learning effectiveness between the experimental and control classes. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in science learning has a significant effect on the creativity of children aged 5–6 years at TK Joy Kids National Plus Tasikmalaya.
