    Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work-life balance on turnover intention with burnout as a mediating variable among employees of PT BNI (Persero) Kantor Cabang Perguruan Tinggi Bandung. Turnover intention is a crucial issue in human resource management as it directly impacts organizational performance and stability, and has the potential to trigger actual turnover among employees. This research employed a quantitative approach with a sample of 81 respondents, determined using the Slovin formula from a population of 267 employees. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. Data were collected through literature review, interviews, and questionnaires, and then analyzed descriptively and verifiably using classical assumption tests, correlation analysis, and path analysis. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the Sobel test to examine the mediating effect and the t-test to examine the partial effect. The results indicate that work-life balance affects turnover intention through burnout as a mediating variable. Partially, work-life balance has a significant negative effect on burnout and turnover intention, while burnout has a significant positive effect on turnover intention.
