    Abstract

    Peserta didik Fase C masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami operasi hitung perkalian dan pembagian, yang berdampak pada rendahnya kemampuan mereka dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika. Hingga saat ini belum tersedia e-modul berbasis diferensiasi yang secara khusus dikembangkan untuk materi tersebut, sementara pembelajaran konvensional belum sepenuhnya mengakomodasi perbedaan gaya belajar, kemampuan, dan minat peserta didik. Kondisi ini menunjukkan perlunya pengembangan e-modul berbasis diferensiasi sebagai media pembelajaran yang adaptif dan interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan e-modul matematika berbasis diferensiasi pada materi perkalian dan pembagian untuk peserta didik Fase C. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Design-Based Research (DBR) melalui empat tahap, yaitu (1) analisis kebutuhan, (2) perancangan prototipe, (3) implementasi dan uji coba terbatas, serta (4) refleksi dan revisi. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas V di SDN Karangsari dan SDN Ciawi III, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul memenuhi prinsip diferensiasi berdasarkan kesiapan, minat, dan profil belajar peserta didik. E-modul dilengkapi dengan latihan bertingkat, video pembelajaran, serta evaluasi otomatis dengan umpan balik langsung. Validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru menyatakan e-modul layak digunakan, sedangkan respons peserta didik menunjukkan media ini menarik, mudah digunakan, dan membantu memahami konsep. Dengan demikian, e-modul berbasis diferensiasi ini dapat menjadi alternatif solusi pembelajaran matematika yang efektif, inovatif, dan mendukung prinsip Merdeka Belajar di sekolah dasar. Phase C students still experience difficulties in understanding multiplication and division operations, which leads to their low ability to solve mathematical problems. Until now, no differentiation-based e-module has been specifically developed for these topics, while conventional learning has not fully accommodated differences in students’ learning styles, abilities, and interests. This condition highlights the urgent need for developing a differentiation-based e-module as an adaptive and interactive learning medium. This study aims to develop a differentiation-based mathematics e-module on multiplication and division for Phase C students. The research employed a Design-Based Research (DBR) approach through four stages: (1) needs analysis, (2) prototype design, (3) implementation and limited trials, and (4) reflection and revision. The research subjects were fifth-grade students at SDN Karangsari and SDN Ciawi III, Tasikmalaya Regency. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The results show that the e-module fulfills the principles of differentiation based on students’ readiness, interests, and learning profiles. The e-module is equipped with tiered exercises, instructional videos, and automatic evaluations with direct feedback. Validation by subject matter experts, media experts, and teachers declared the e-module feasible for use, while students’ responses indicated that the media was engaging, easy to use, and helpful in understanding concepts. Therefore, this differentiation-based e-module can serve as an effective and innovative alternative solution for mathematics learning and support the principles of Merdeka Belajar in primary schools.
