Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji seberapa besar hubungan ekstrakurikuler bola voli dengan pembentukan karakter siswa di SMK Angkasa Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan responden/sampel yang berjumlah 15 orang siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bola voli. Sampel tersebut terbagi atas dua kelopok yaitu kelompok dengan kehadiran ekstrakurikuler 70%-80% dan kelompok siswa dengan kehadiran ekstrakurikuler 81%-90%. Kedua kelompok tersebut diberikan angket yang sama dengan variabel pembentukan karakter siswa. Kemudian angket tersebut dihitung menggunakan rumus korelasi untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bola voli yang dibuktikan dengan kehadiran minimal 70% selama mengikuti kegiatan satu tahun. Hasilnya diperoleh koefisien korelasi dari masing-masing kelompok berturut-turut dengan nilai korelasi 0,777 dan 0, 863. Lalu nilai tersebut diukur dengan menggunakan tabel interpretasi Arikunto (2010:319) dengan hasil nilai interpretasi kelompok dengan kehadiran 81%-90% termasuk dalam taraf intepretasi tinggi sedang kelompok dengan kehadiran 70%-80% termasuk pada taraf interpretasi cukup. Ini menunjukkan bahwa kelompok dengan kehadiran pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler 81%-90% lebih memiliki karakter lebih baik dari pada kelompok dengan presentase kehadiran 70%-80%. Key words : Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, Bola voli, Pembentukan karakter The aim of this research to find out how much the relationship extracurricular volleyball on character formation of students in SMK Angkasa Bandung. The method used in this research is descriptive research method with respondents / sample of 15 students who take part in extracurricular volleyball. The Samples divide of two group level is the group with the presence of 70% -80% extra-curricular and extracurricular student groups in the presence of 81% -90%. Both groups give the same questionnaire with variable character formation of students. The questionnaires were then calculated receipts correlation formula to determine how much the relationship volleyball extracurricular activities as evidenced by the presence of at least 70% during the activity of the year. The results obtained from the correlation coefficient of each group in a row with a value of correlation 0.777 and 0, 863. Then make use of the table is measured with Arikunto interpretation (2010: 319) with the results interpretation of the group with a 81% -90% presence including in level the presence of medium height with a group of 70% -80% including at the level of interpretation sufficient. It reveals that a group with a presence in extracurricular activities 81% -90% more to have better character than in the group with a percentage of 70% -80% attendance.
