    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode bernyanyi terhadap kemampuan personal hygiene anak usia 4–6 tahun di TK Nurul Iman, Ciamis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen desain nonequivalent control group. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas dua kelompok, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan metode bernyanyi, dan kelas kontrol yang tidak mendapat perlakuan yang berada di TK Nurul Iman Ciamis. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar kuesioner yang telah divalidasi. Hasil pretest menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor kemampuan personal hygiene anak pada kelas eksperimen adalah 39,67 dan kelas kontrol 39,62. Setelah perlakuan, rata-rata skor kelas eksperimen meningkat menjadi 53,00 sedangkan kelas kontrol hanya meningkat menjadi 40,54. Uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan pada kelas eksperimen signifikan (p = 0,002 < 0,05) dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,81 (kategori tinggi) dan (efektif), sedangkan kelas kontrol tidak menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan (p = 0,056 > 0,05) dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,52 (kategori sedang). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa metode bernyanyi efektif dan berpengaruh terhadap personal hygiene anak usia 4-6 tahun di TK Nurul Iman, terutama pada aspek pengetahuan dan motivasi, meskipun perubahan perilaku nyata tetap memerlukan pembiasaan dan dukungan lingkungan. Lagu dengan lirik yang sederhana, berisi pesan kebersihan, dan disampaikan secara menarik terbukti mampu meningkatkan pemahaman serta membentuk kebiasaan menjaga kebersihan diri. Oleh karena itu, metode bernyanyi direkomendasikan sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan aplikatif dalam pendidikan anak usia dini, baik di lingkungan sekolah maupun di rumah. Kata Kunci: Ana Usia 4-6 Tahun, Metode Bernyanyi, Kebersihan Diri, Metode Eksperimen This study aims to determine the effect of the singing method on the personal hygiene skills of children aged 4–6 years at TK Nurul Iman, Ciamis. The research used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a nonequivalent control group. The subjects consisted of two groups: the experimental class, which received the singing method intervention, and the control class, which did not receive the treatment, both from TK Nurul Iman Ciamis. Data were collected using validated questionnaires. The pretest results showed that the average score of children’s personal hygiene skills in the experimental class was 39.67, while in the control class it was 39.62. After the intervention, the experimental class average score increased to 53.00, whereas the control class only increased to 40.54. The Wilcoxon test revealed that the improvement in the experimental class was significant (p = 0.002 < 0.05) with an N-Gain value of 0.81 (high category) and considered effective, while the control class did not show a significant improvement (p = 0.056 > 0.05) with an N-Gain value of 0.52 (medium category). These results indicate that the singing method is effective and has an impact on the personal hygiene of children aged 4–6 years at TK Nurul Iman, especially in terms of knowladge and motivation, although real behavioral change still requires habituation and environmrntal support. Songs with simple lyrics containing hygiene messages, delivered in an engaging way, were proven to enhance understanding and foster habits of maintaining personal cleanliness. Therefore, the singing method is recommended as a fun and applicable learning strategy in early childhood education, both in school and at home.
