Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan serta menguji efektivitas media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi android bernama SILOKA (Edukasi Lokakarya Kesejarahan) pada materi sejarah Mahkota Binokasih bagi siswa kelas V SD. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada rendahnya pemanfaatan teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah dasar dan lemahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap materi sejarah yang cenderung dianggap membosankan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengembangan media dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Pengembangan aplikasi SILOKA memanfaatkan perangkat lunak Canva, Smart Apps Creator, dan YouTube, dengan desain yang interaktif dan mudah diakses. Uji coba dilakukan pada dua kelas: eksperimen (dengan aplikasi SILOKA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman siswa yang menggunakan aplikasi SILOKA, dengan rata-rata nilai posttest sebesar 67,72 (eksperimen). Media dinilai sangat valid oleh ahli materi (96,87%) dan sangat valid oleh ahli media (90,63%) setelah revisi, serta menerima respons “sangat baik” dari mayoritas siswa. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah aplikasi SILOKA efektif meningkatkan pemahaman sejarah siswa, serta layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif di sekolah dasar. This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of an Android-based learning media application called SILOKA (Educational Workshop on History) on the historical material of the Binokasih Crown for grade V elementary school students. The background of this research is based on the low utilization of technology as a medium for learning history in elementary schools and students’ weak understanding of historical material, which is often considered boring. The method used is media development with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The SILOKA application was developed using Canva, Smart Apps Creator, and YouTube, featuring an interactive and easily accessible design. Trials were conducted on two classes: experimental (using the SILOKA application). The results showed a significant improvement in students’ understanding who used SILOKA, with an average posttest score of 67.72 (experimental group). The media was assessed as very valid by content experts (96.87%) and media experts (90.63%) after revision, and received a “very good” response from the majority of students. The conclusion of this study is that SILOKA is effective in improving students’ historical understanding and is feasible to be used as interactive learning media in elementary schools.
