Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak sosial yang dirasakan masyarakat akibat keberadaan daya tarik wisata, mengukur tingkat dukungan masyarakat, serta menganalisis pengaruh dampak sosial Lembang Park and Zoo terhadap dukungan masyarakat sekitar terhadap pariwisata, khususnya di Desa Cihideung dan Desa Sukajaya. Isu ini penting mengingat meningkatnya aktivitas wisata membawa manfaat sekaligus menimbulkan konsekuensi sosial bagi masyarakat yang terdampak langsung. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner kepada 100 responden. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda, dengan landasan teori Social Exchange Theory (SET). Dampak sosial dikaji melalui dua dimensi, yaitu manfaat sosial dan biaya sosial, sementara dukungan masyarakat dianalisis melalui dimensi perencanaan, pengelolaan, pelaksanaan proyek, dan penolakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan masyarakat merasakan manfaat sosial tinggi (66%) dan biaya sosial sedang (56%), dengan dukungan masyarakat dalam kategori sedang (41,25%). Regresi linear berganda mengindikasikan manfaat sosial berpengaruh positif signifikan, dimana peningkatan satu satuan manfaat sosial menaikkan dukugan sebesar 3,45%. Sebaliknya, biaya sosial berpengaruh negatif signifikan dengan peningkatan satu satuan biaya sosial menurunkan dukungan sebesar 0,92%. Tidak adanya penolakan terbuka juga mengindikasikan bentuk dukungan pasif masarakat. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat cenderung mendukung keberadaan Lembang Park and Zoo, selama manfaat sosial yang dirasakan melebihi biaya sosial yang dirasakan. This study aims to analyze the social impacts perceived by the community due to the existence of a tourist attraction, measure the level of community support, and examine the influence of social impacts of Lembang Park and Zoo on local community support for tourism, particularly in Cihideung and Sukajaya Villages. This issue is important as increasing tourism activities bring benefits but also social consequences for the directly affected communities. A quantitative method was employed by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and inferentially using multiple linear regression analysis, grounded in Social Exchange Theory (SET). Social impact was examined through two dimensions, namely social benefits and social costs, while community support was analyzed based on the dimensions of planning, management, project implementation, and rejection. The results show that the community perceives high social benefits (66%) and moderate social costs (56%), with the level of community support categorized as moderate (41.25%). Multiple linear regression indicates that social benefits have a significant positive effect, where an increase of one unit in social benefits raises support by 3.45%. Conversely, social costs have a significant negative effect, with a one-unit increase in social costs decreasing support by 0.92%. The absence of open rejection also indicates a form of passive support from the community. These findings suggest that the community tends to support the presence of Lembang Park and Zoo as long as the perceived social benefits exceed the social costs.
