    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar inovatif berbasis permainan tradisional benthik melalui pendekatan berbasis kearifan lokal dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, Evaluasi) sebagai alternatif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep perbandingan pada siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode narrative inquiry, yang menekankan pada penggalian pengalaman belajar siswa dan guru melalui cerita yang diperoleh dari wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Tahapan penelitian meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) serta bahan ajar berbasis permainan Benthik, pengembangan produk, implementasi uji coba pada 17 siswa, dan evaluasi untuk penyempurnaan bahan ajar. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara di SDN Baros 1, banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan karena penggunaan angka besar, rumus, serta operasi perkalian. Selain itu, pemanfaatan budaya lokal maupun penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam bahan ajar matematika masih sangat terbatas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan permainan tradisional Benthik ke dalam bahan ajar dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar, keterlibatan siswa, serta memudahkan pemahaman konsep perbandingan melalui aktivitas kontekstual seperti nyuthat, namplek, dan nuthuk. Produk akhir penelitian ini berupa RPP, bahan ajar berbasis permainan Benthik, LKPD, dan instrumen evaluasi yang valid serta layak digunakan. Dengan demikian, bahan ajar ini dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran materi perbandingan di kelas V Sekolah Dasar. This study aims to develop innovative teaching materials based on the traditional game Benthik through a local wisdom–based approach using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) as an alternative to improve learning motivation and the understanding of ratio concepts among fifth-grade elementary school students. The research employed a qualitative approach with the narrative inquiry method, which emphasizes exploring students’ and teachers’ learning experiences through stories gathered from interviews, observations, and documentation. The research stages consisted of needs analysis, lesson plan design, development of Benthik-based teaching materials, product development, trial implementation with 17 students, and evaluation for product refinement. Findings from interviews at SDN Baros 1 revealed that many students encountered difficulties due to the use of large numbers, formulas, and multiplication operations. Moreover, the integration of local culture and learning media in mathematics teaching materials remains limited. The results show that integrating the traditional game Benthik into teaching materials can increase learning motivation, student engagement, and facilitate the understanding of ratio concepts through contextual activities such as nyuthat, namplek, and nuthuk. The final product includes lesson plans, Benthik-based teaching materials, worksheets, and validated evaluation instruments that are considered feasible for use. Thus, these materials can serve as an innovative alternative in teaching ratio to fifth-grade elementary students.
