    Abstract

    PT Pos Indonesia KCU Surabaya yang merupakan penyedia layanan logistik terbesar di Indonesia menghadapi kendala dalam pendistribusian barang terkait dengan pembagian titik rute yang tidak merata dan efisiensi waktu tempuh yang rendah sehingga banyak kiriman yang tidak dikirimkan pada hari yang sama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat rancangan rute menggunakan model pemrograman saving matrix dan nearest neighbor serta meghitung waktu tempuh, jarak, dan biaya distribusi PT Pos Indonesia KCU Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah saving matrix dengan pendekatan algoritma nearest neighbor, dan pengolahan data menggunakan perangkat lunak MATLAB 2024a. Hasil Analisis penelitian membuat suatu interface untuk mempermudah melakukan pemetan rute dengan MATLAB. Model pemrograman Saving Matrix dan Nearest neighbor di MATLAB dimulai dengan perhitungan jarak euclidean dan permintaan tiap titik untuk membentuk distance dan saving matrix. Titik-titik kemudian dikelompokkan dalam lima klaster, dan algoritma nearest neighbor menentukan rute terbaik berdasarkan jarak, waktu tempuh, dan jumlah kiriman. PT Pos Indonesia KCU Surabaya dapat menggunakan lima kendaraan dengan range jarak tempuh kendaraan di antara 34.08 km sampai 41.11 km, dan range waktu tempuh sekitar 119 sampai 144 menit, hal ini tidak melewati batas waktu operasional distribusi PT Pos Indonesia selama 150 menit dengan range biaya kendaraan untuk proses distribusi diantara Rp 65.709 sampai dengan Rp 79.263 per hari pada jadwal malam. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa rancangan rute menggunakan metode saving matriks dan nearest neighbor memiliki kelemahan karena algoritma ini hanya mencari titik terdekat dengan jarak terakhir tanpa mempertimbangkan kondisi aktual walaupun memiliki keunggulan untuk meminimasi jarak tempuh. PT Pos Indonesia KCU Surabaya, the largest logistics service provider in Indonesia, faces challenges in goods distribution due to uneven route point allocation and low travel time efficiency, causing many shipments to be undelivered on the same day. This study aims to design delivery routes using the Saving Matrix and Nearest Neighbor models, as well as calculate travel time, distance, and distribution costs for PT Pos Indonesia KCU Surabaya. The method employed is the Saving Matrix approach combined with the Nearest Neighbor algorithm, with data processed using MATLAB 2024a. The research produces an interface in MATLAB to simplify route mapping. The Saving Matrix and Nearest Neighbor models begin with Euclidean distance calculations and demand data to form the distance and savings matrices. The delivery points are grouped into five clusters, and the Nearest Neighbor algorithm determines the most efficient routes based on distance, time, and shipment volume. PT Pos Indonesia KCU Surabaya can operate five vehicles with travel distances ranging from 34.08 km to 41.11 km and travel times between 119 and 144 minutes. These values remain within the company’s operational time limit of 150 minutes. Distribution costs range from IDR 65,709 to IDR 79,263 per vehicle per day on night shifts. While the Saving Matrix and Nearest Neighbor approach helps minimize travel distances, the algorithm has limitations, as it selects the next nearest point without considering actual traffic or road conditions, which may affect route accuracy in real-world applications.
