Abstract

Data Badan Pusat Statistik menunjukkan jumlah kecelakaan lalu lintas di Indonesia terus meningkat setiap tahunnya, dengan angka kasus selalu berada di atas 100.000 dan 61% di antaranya disebabkan oleh faktor manusia. Meskipun sebagian besar pengendara di Indonesia memiliki pengetahuan yang memadai terkait berkendara aman, perilaku mereka masih menjadi permasalahan yang mengkhawatirkan, ditunjukkan dengan rendahnya indeks perilaku pengendara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh terpaan akun Instagram @atcs.kotabandung terhadap perilaku berkendara aman pengikutnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner berskala Likert yang disebarkan kepada 415 responden, dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling dari populasi sebanyak 173.000 pengikut. Data dikumpulkan melalui Google Form kemudian diolah menggunakan SPSS versi 29 yang terdiri dari uji asumsi klasik serta uji hipotesis, lalu dianalisis secara deskriptif. Penelitian ini berlandaskan pada teori Stimulus Organism Response, dengan asumsi bahwa stimulus berupa media sosial dapat memengaruhi perilaku individu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa frekuensi, durasi, dan atensi terpaan akun Instagram @atcs.kotabandung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku berkendara aman, dengan kontribusi sebesar 62,7%, sementara 37,3% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian ini; Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) shows that the number of traffic accidents in Indonesia continues to increase annually, with the number of cases consistently above 100,000, and 61% of these being caused by human factors. Although most drivers in Indonesia possess adequate knowledge of safe driving, their behavior remains a concerning issue, as indicated by the low driver behavior index. This study aims to analyze the influence of exposure to the Instagram account @atcs.kotabandung on the safe driving behavior of its followers. This study employs a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The instrument used was a Likert scale questionnaire distributed to 415 respondents, selected through a purposive sampling technique from a population of 173,000 followers. Data were collected through a Google Form and then processed using SPSS version 29, which included classical assumption tests and hypothesis tests, and were then analyzed descriptively. This study is based on the Stimulus Organism Response theory, with the assumption that stimuli in the form of social media can influence individual behavior. The results of the study showed that the frequency, duration, and attention to exposure from the Instagram account @atcs.kotabandung have a positive and significant influence on safe driving behavior, with a contribution of 62.7%, while the remaining 37.3% is influenced by other factors outside this study.
