Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “Penerapan Pembelajaran IPA Terpadu Berdasarkan Model Webbed untuk Meningkatkan Literasi Sains Siswa pada Tema Penjernihan Air” ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana model ini dapat meningkatkan literasi sains siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tanpa integrasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experiment dengan Non-randomized Subject Pretest Posttest Control-Group Design yang menggunakan dua kelompok subjek penelitian kelas VII di salahsatu SMP Negeri di Rangkasbitung, Banten. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes tertulis, lembar observasi, LKS, angket, dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA terpadu model Webbed dapat meningkatkan literasi sains siswa, lebih baik bila dibandingkan dengan peningkatan literasi sains pada kelas yang tidak menerapkan pembelajaran IPA terpadu. Signifikansi ini ditunjukkan baik secara keseluruhan maupun pada setiap aspek konten, konteks aplikasi, dan proses sains siswa. Selain itu, pembelajaran IPA terpadu dapat pula membangun sikap positif siswa terhadap isu-isu sains. Kata kunci : pembelajaran IPA terpadu model webbed, literasi sains siswa. The research, entitled”Aplication of Integrated Science Based Learning Webbed Model to Improve Literacy science Student at The Theme Water Purification” aims to know how far this model can improve the scientific literacy of students compared to the learning without integration. The method used in the study is Quasi Experiment with NonRandomized Subject Pretest Posttest Control-Group that uses two group of research subject in class VII at Junir High School in Rangkasbitung, Banten. Instruments used in the form of written tests, observation sheets, worksheets, quetionnaires, and interview guides. The results showed that the integrated science learning webbed models can improve the scientific literacy of students, better when compared with increase in literacy in science class that does not implement an integrated science learning. Significance is shown both overall and in every aspect of content, aplication context, and the process of science students. In addition, an integrated science learning can also built students’ positive attitudes toward science isues. Keyword : integrated science learning webbed models, scientific literacy of students
