Abstract
Seseorang yang memiliki jiwa wirausaha adalah mereka yang di dalam kepribadiannya telah terinternalisasikan nilai-nilai kewirausahaan, yakni kepribadian yang memiliki tindakan kreatif sebagai nilai, gemar berusaha, tegar dalam berbagai tantangan, percaya diri, memiliki “self determination” atau “locus of control”, berkemampuan mengelola resiko, perubahan dipandang sebagai peluang, toleransi terhadap banyaknya pilihan, inisiatif dan memiliki “need for achievement,” perfeksionis, pandangan luas, menganggap waktu sangat berharga serta memiliki motivasi yang kuat, dan karakter itu semua telah menginternal sebagai nilai-nilai yang diyakini benar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui; 1) pelaksanaan kegiatan Prakerin, 2) hasil kegiatan Prakerin dalam menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan siswa dan 3) kesulitan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan Prakerin. Penelitian kualitatif menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan, berlokasi di SMK Negeri 1 Namlea dengan subyek penelitian adalah siswa yang sedang melaksanakan kegiatan Prakerin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) pelaksanaan kegiatan Prakerin di mulai dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi selalu berpedoman pada program kerja; 2) setelah mengikuti kegiatan siswa mampu bekerja secara mandiri, bekerja dalam suatu tim, kreatif dan inovatif, memiliki perspektif dan cara pandang yang beriorientasi pada masa depan, dapat mengembangkan potensi diri serta keahlian sesuai dengan minat dan bakat serta kegiatan Prakerin dapat menumbuhkan sikap kejujuran, kepercayaan diri, rasa hormat dan tanggung jawab siswa; 3) siswa kesulitan menggunakan peralatan praktik yang ada di dunia usaha dan dunia industri. Kata Kunci: Jiwa Kewirausahaan, Praktik Kerja Industri, Basis Nilai Someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit are those who in his personality has internalized the values of entrepreneurship, the personality that has a creative act as a value, like to try, steadfast in various challenges, confident, has a “self-determination” or “locus of control”, capacity to manage risk, change is seen as an opportunity, tolerance to many choices, initiative and have a “need for achievement”, perfectionist, expansive views, assume time is precious and has a strong motivation, and character that all have internalize right as the values which is believed to be correct. This study aims to determine; 1) implementation of activities Prakerin, 2) results Prakerin activities in fostering the entrepreneurial spirit of students and 3) difficulties in the implementation of activities Prakerin. Qualitative research using the case study method with data collection through interviews, observation, documentation studies and literature study, located in SMK Negeri 1 Namlea with research subjects are students who are conducting Prakerin. The results showed that: 1) the implementation of activities in the Prakerin from planning, implementation and evaluation is always based on the work program; 2) after following the activities of the students are able to work independently, to work in a team, creative and innovative, has a perspective and viewpoint oriented to the future, can develop self-potential and expertise in accordance with the interests and talents with Prakerin activities can foster an attitude of honesty, confidence, respect and responsibility of the student; 3) students have difficulty using equipment practices in the world of business and industry.
