Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya keterampilan citizenship sebagai salah satu kompetensi abad ke-21 yang perlu dimiliki oleh Peserta didik guna menjawab tuntutan perkembangan dan tantangan zaman. Pembelajaran berbasis STEM telah banyak terbukti mampu meningkatkan keterampilan abad ke-21, tetapi belum banyak yang secara khusus berfokus pada pengembangan keterampilan citizenship. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berupa Modul Ajar PJBL-STEM yang berorientasi pada keterampilan citizenship untuk Peserta didik sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Educational Design Research (EDR) menurut McKenney dan Reeves, yang meliputi tahap analisis dan eksplorasi, desain dan konstruksi, serta evaluasi dan refleksi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan mixed methods, yaitu analisis kuantitatif untuk hasil angket validasi ahli serta respon guru dan Peserta didik, dan analisis kualitatif untuk data wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Produk Modul Ajar PJBL-STEM Keterampilan Citizenship yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan pedagogik, kemudian diujicobakan dua kali pada kelas V di dua sekolah berbeda. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan respon Peserta didik rata-rata 75,3% positif dengan kategori tinggi pada siklus pertama dan meningkat menjadi 81,3% positif pada siklus kedua dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Respon guru terhadap produk juga menunjukkan peningkatan dari 77,08% pada siklus pertama dengan kategori praktis menjadi 95,8% pada siklus kedua dengan kategori sangat praktis. Modul Ajar ini diharapkan dapat menjadi sarana pembelajaran yang membantu guru dalam memperkaya proses belajar, sehingga mampu meningkatkan keterampilan citizenship Peserta didik sekolah dasar. This research is motivated by the importance of citizenship skills as one of the 21st-century competencies that students need to have in order to meet the demands of development and the challenges of the times. STEM-based learning has been proven to improve 21st-century skills, but not many have specifically focused on the development of citizenship skills. This research aims to develop a learning tool in the form of a PJBL-STEM Teaching Module oriented towards citizenship skills for elementary school students. The research method used is Educational Design Research (EDR) according to McKenney and Reeves, which includes the stages of analysis and exploration, design and construction, and evaluation and reflection. Data analysis was carried out using a mixed methods approach, namely quantitative analysis for the results of expert validation questionnaires and teacher and student responses, and qualitative analysis for interview data and documentation studies. The PJBL-STEM Teaching Module product for Citizenship Skills developed was validated by material and pedagogical experts, then tested twice in grade V in two different schools. The trial results showed an average of 75.3% positive student responses with a high category in the first cycle and increased to 81.3% positive in the second cycle with a very high category. Teacher responses to the product also showed an increase from 77.08% in the first cycle with a practical category to 95.8% in the second cycle with a very practical category. This teaching module is expected to be a learning tool that helps teachers enrich the learning process, thereby improving the citizenship skills of elementary school students.
