Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan cerita fabel digital yang diterapkan melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif terhadap sikap kesadaran lingkungan siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di kelas 5 sekolah dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya tingkat kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu (quasi-experimental) dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 52 siswa kelas 5 di SDN Cimalaka III, terbagi menjadi kelas eksperimen (n=26) yang menerima perlakuan menggunakan cerita fabel digital dan kelas kontrol (n=26) yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan angket yang dinilai valid dan reliabel. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media cerita fabel digital secara signifikan meningkatkan sikap kesadaran lingkungan siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa integrasi cerita fabel digital dalam pembelajaran kooperatif dapat menjadi strategi efektif untuk menumbuhkan empati serta kesadaran terhadap keberlanjutan lingkungan di tingkat sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: Cerita Fabel Digital, Eksperimen, Kesadaran Lingkungan, Pembelajaran Sekolah Dasar, Pendidikan This study aims to examine the effect of digital fable stories implemented through a cooperative learning model on students’ environmental awareness attitudes in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject for fifth-grade elementary school students. The background of this research is based on the low level of environmental awareness among students. The research employed a quasi- experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects consisted of 52 fifth-grade students at SDN Cimalaka III, divided into an experimental group (n=26) that received treatment using digital fable stories, and a control group (n=26) that received conventional instruction. Data were collected through observation and validated questionnaires. The results demonstrated that the use of digital fable stories as a learning media significantly improved students’ environmental awareness attitudes in the IPAS subject. These findings suggest that integrating digital fable stories within cooperative learning strategies can effectively foster empathy and environmental consciousness at the elementary school level.
