    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD praktikum berbasis inkuiri terbimbing topik polimer pada pembuatan bahan aktif disinfektan antimikroba dari bioplastik PLA (Polylactic Acid) untuk peserta didik pada jenjang pendidikan SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Educational Design Research yang dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yaitu pendahuluan, pengembangan, dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Garut dengan melibatkan 12 peserta didik kelas XI dan 5 orang validator dengan 2 orang dosen Pendidikan Kimia dan 3 orang guru Kimia SMA. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu angket analisis kebutuhan LKPD, prosedur optimasi, lembar uji kelayakan LKPD, lembar rubrik penilaian LKPD, lembar observasi, dan lembar angket respons peserta didik. Hasil optimasi pembuatan disinfektan asam laktat dari bioplastik PLA dan uji efektivitasnya untuk tiap variabel yang optimum yaitu massa dari bioplastik PLA sebanyak 1 gram, volume NaOH 1,4 M sebanyak 20 mL, konsentrasi HCl 5,5 M, dan pewarna menggunakan metilen biru dan eritrosin masing-masing 3 tetes. Hasil uji kelayakan LKPD praktikum yang dikembangkan pada aspek kesesuaian komponen LKPD dengan indikator inkuiri, kelayakan unsur penyusun LKPD, kelayakan tata bahasa dalam kategori sangat baik, dan kelayakan tata letak dan perwajahan termasuk dalam kategori baik. Keterlaksanaan praktikum berdasarkan hasil observasi keterlaksanaan LKPD praktikum berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dan hasil jawaban peserta didik terhadap LKPD yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Respons peserta didik terhadap LKPD praktikum yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Sehingga LKPD praktikum yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar di SMA. This study aims to develop a guided inquiry-based student worksheet (LKPD) for a laboratory activity on polymers, specifically focusing on the production of antimicrobial disinfectant agents derived from PLA (Polylactic Acid) bioplastics for high school (SMA) students. The research employed the Educational Design Research (EDR) method, which consists of three stages: preliminary study, development, and evaluation. This research was conducted in one of the state SMA in Garut district involving 12 students 11th grade and 5 validators with 2 Chemistry Education lecturers and 3 SMA chemistry teachers. The research instruments included a needs analysis questionnaire for LKPD development, an optimization procedure sheet, a feasibility assessment form, an LKPD assessment rubric, an observation sheet, and a student response questionnaire. The results of the practical optimization for lactic acid disinfectant production from PLA bioplastics and its effectiveness testing showed the optimal variables were: 1 gram of PLA bioplastic, 20 mL of NaOH 1,4 M, 5.5 M HCl concentration, and coloring using erythrosin and methylene blue three drops each. The developed LKPD was rated as very good in terms of its alignment with inquiry indicators, the appropriateness of its components, and its language use, while its layout and visual design were rated as good. The implementation of the practicum, based on observation and students’ responses to the developed LKPD, was categorized as very good. Students’ responses to both the practicum and the LKPD were also highly positive. Therefore, the developed LKPD is deemed suitable for use as a teaching material in senior high school settings.
