Abstract
Training Needs Assessment (TNA) merupakan langkah awal yang krusial dalam perencanaan program pelatihan untuk memastikan pelatihan berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta. Dalam konteks pelatihan masa persiapan pensiun, TNA menjadi sangat penting mengingat kompleksitas tantangan yang dihadapi pegawai menjelang masa transisi dari dunia kerja ke masa pensiun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi TNA dalam perencanaan program pelatihan masa persiapan pensiun di PT. Duta Transformasi Insani sebagai lembaga konsultan pelatihan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri dari tim program dan tim marketing yang terlibat langsung dalam pelaksanaan TNA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi TNA telah dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu : 1) Tahap persiapan, persiapan TNA sudah dilakukan dengan baik namun belum terdokumentasi secara formal dan belum terjadwal secara sistematis. 2) Tahap pelaksanaan, teknik yang digunakan meliputi wawancara, kuesioner dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) untuk menggali kebutuhan peserta. 3) Tahap hasil, perumusan kebutuhan pelatihan dan kesenjangan kompetensi telah dilakukan, namun pelaporan dan rekomendasi masih bersifat informal melalui forum rapat dan form produk. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa TNA yang dilakukan oleh DT Insani dalam program pelatihan masa persiapan pensiun telah dilaksanakan dengan baik dan cukup sistematis, namun perlu ditingkatkan dalam proses dokumentasi, konsistensi metode dan penyusunan pelaporan agar program pelatihan dapat lebih relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta pelatihan. Training Needs Assessment (TNA) is a crucial initial step in training program planning to ensure that the training aligns with participants' actual needs. In the context of pre-retirement training, TNA is particularly important considering the complex challenges faced by employees during the transition from working life to retirement. This study aims to analyze the implementation of TNA in the planning of pre-retirement training programs at PT. Duta Transformasi Insani, a consulting institution specializing in training and human resource development. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through interviews and document analysis. The research Informants consisted of the program team and the marketing team directly involved in the TNA process.The findings indicate that the TNA was carried out through three stages: (1) The preparation stage, which was conducted adequately but lacked formal documentation and a systematic schedule; (2) The implementation stage, which employed techniques such as interviews, questionnaires, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) to identify participants’ needs; and (3) The result stage, in which training needs and competency gaps were formulated, although reporting and recommendations remained informal and were delivered through meetings and product forms.These findings suggest that the TNA implemented by DT Insani has been conducted fairly systematically. However, improvements are needed in documentation, method consistency, and formal reporting to ensure that the training program is more relevant and aligned with participants needs.
