    Abstract

    Pengaruh Grit dan Job Insecurity terhadap Motif Job Hopping pada Karyawan Perbankan di Kota Bandung. Skripsi Program Studi Psikologi, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Bandung (2025). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh grit dan job insecurity terhadap motif job hopping pada karyawan perbankan di Kota Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 278 responden dengan karakteristik karyawan perbankan yang pernah berpindah pekerjaan dalam kurun waktu kurang dari dua tahun. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling, yaitu purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari Grit Scale (Duckworth, 2007; adaptasi Maulana, 2022) dengan reliabilitas 0,724, Job Insecurity Questionnaire (Hellgren et al., 1999; adaptasi Rohman, 2018) dengan reliabilitas 0,736, serta Job Hopping Motives Scale (Lake et al., 2018; adaptasi Fadhilah, 2023) dengan reliabilitas 0,713. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dan berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa grit dan job insecurity berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motif job hopping, dengan kontribusi sebesar 67,3% terhadap dimensi kemajuan karir dan 71,4% terhadap dimensi motif menghindar (p < 0,05). This study aims to examine the influence of grit and job insecurity on job hopping motives among banking employees in Bandung City. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The sample consisted of 278 respondents with the characteristics of banking employees who had changed jobs within a period of less than two years. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling, specifically purposive sampling. The research instruments consisted of the Grit Scale (Duckworth, 2007; adapted by Maulana, 2022) with a reliability coefficient of 0.724, the Job Insecurity Questionnaire (Hellgren et al., 1999; adapted by Rohman, 2018) with a reliability coefficient of 0.736, and the Job Hopping Motives Scale (Lake et al., 2018; adapted by Fadhilah, 2023) with a reliability coefficient of 0.713. Data were analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression. The findings revealed that grit and job insecurity significantly influenced job hopping motives, contributing 67.3% to the career advancement dimension and 71.4% to the avoidance motive dimension (p < 0.05).
