Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah locus of control dan dukungan orang tua berpengaruh terhadap identitas karier remaja akhir di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 391 orang berusia 18-22 tahun atau sedang berada pada fase perkembangan remaja akhir serta masih memiliki orang tua. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear tunggal untuk melihat kontribusi locus of control terhadap identitas karier dan kontribusi dukungan orang tua terhadap identitas karier secara parsial, serta analisis regresi linear berganda untuk melihat kontribusi locus of control dan dukungan orang tua secara simultan terhadap identitas karier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan locus of control dan dukungan orang tua berpengaruh terhadap identitas karier dengan nilai signifikansi yaitu 0.004 (p<0.05), yang mengimplikasikan bahwa jika terjadi peningkatan locus of control dan dukungan orang tua maka tingkat identitas karier remaja akhir akan meningkat. Locus of control memberikan besaran kontribusi yang lebih kecil dibandingkan dukungan orang tua. Dengan demikian didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari locus of control dan dukungan orang tua terhadap identitas karier remaja akhir di Indonesia. This study aims to determine whether locus of control and parental support influence the career identity of late adolescents in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. Respondents in this study numbered 391 people aged 18-22 years or are in the late adolescent development phase and still have parents. Data analysis in this study used a single linear regression analysis technique to partially examine the contribution of locus of control to career identity and the contribution of parental support to career identity, as well as multiple linear regression analysis to simultaneously examine the contribution of locus of control and parental support to career identity. The results showed that locus of control and parental support influence career identity with a significance value of 0.004 (p<0.05), which implies that if there is an increase in locus of control and parental support, the level of career identity of late adolescents will increase. Locus of control makes a smaller contribution than parental support. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of locus of control and parental support on the career identity of late adolescents in Indonesia.
