Abstract

Waktu sadar kapal muatan curah kering di PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok Multi Purpose Terminal Cabang Banten diketahui melampaui jadwal yang telah direncanakan. Kondisi ini disebabkan oleh adanya idle time yang muncul akibat penerapan metode truck lossing dalam kegiatan bongkar muat, yang berdampak pada menurunnya kinerja bongkar muat. Penelitian ini akan mengidentifikasi proses pelaksanaan truck lossing, menggambarkan kondisi kinerja bongkar muat curah kering, serta mengevaluasi seberapa besar pengaruh truck lossing terhadap kinerja bongkar muat curah kering tersebut. Akan digunakan pendekatan kuantitatif pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakan data primer yang didapat dari wawancara dan penggunaan kuesioner, serta penggunaan data sekunder yang didapat dari laporan perusahaan. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan proses truck lossing curah kering dilakukan dengan dengan membongkar atau memuat barang melalui tahap stevedoring tanpa melewati proses cargodoring maupun receiving, kinerja bongkar muat curah kering belum memenuhi standar dan dinilai kurang baik, serta hasil uji regresi dan hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa truck lossing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja bongkar muat curah kering dimana truck lossing berkontribusi sebesar 34,2% terhadap kinerja bongkar muat curah kering di PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok Multi Purpose Terminal Cabang Banten, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukan dalam model regresi pada penelitian ini. The berthing time of dry bulk cargo vessels at PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok Multi Purpose Terminal Banten Branch, has been found to exceed the scheduled timeframe. This delay is primarily caused by idle time resulting from the implementation of the truck lossing method in loading and unloading activities, which in turn negatively affects loading and unloading performance of the dry bulk cargo. This study aims to identify the implementation process of dry bulk truck lossing, describe the loading and unloading performance of the dry bulk cargo, and evaluate the influence of truck lossing on the performance of dry bulk cargo. A quantitative approach is applied in this research, utilizing primary data obtained through interviews and questionnaires, as well as secondary data from company reports. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results show that the truck lossing process is carried out directly through the stevedoring stage, bypassing the cargodoring and receiving stages. The loading and unloading performance of the dry bulk cargo has not yet met the established standards and is considered unsatisfactory. Furthermore, regression and hypothesis testing indicate that truck lossing has a positive and significant effect on loading and unloading performance of the dry bulk cargo, contributing 34,2% to the loading and unloading performance of the dry bulk cargo.
