Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi pembelajaran interaktif bernama MAMAMUL (Math Master Multiplication) guna meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam pemecahan masalah pada materi perkalian. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri II Sukatani, Kabupaten Purwakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Aplikasi MAMAMUL dirancang menggunakan pendekatan visual, audio, dan interaktif berbasis Android, yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik siswa sekolah dasar. Hasil validasi ahli materi dan media menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini berada dalam kategori “sangat layak” untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Penerapan MAMAMUL dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap soal-soal cerita perkalian, ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan hasil belajar dari pretest ke posttest. Selain itu, respon siswa terhadap aplikasi menunjukkan bahwa media ini menarik, mudah digunakan, dan membantu mereka lebih memahami cara memecahkan masalah menggunakan empat langkah Polya. Dengan demikian, aplikasi MAMAMUL dapat menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran yang efektif dan menyenangkan untuk mendukung pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Kata kunci: pengembangan media, MAMAMUL, pemahaman, pemecahan masalah, perkalian, siswa SD This research is to develop an interactive learning application called MAMAMUL (Math Master Multiplication) to enhance students' understanding in solving multiplication problems. The subjects of this research were fourth-grade students at SD Negeri II Sukatani, Purwakarta Regency. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The MAMAMUL application was designed with visual, audio, and interactive features based on Android, tailored to the characteristics of elementary school students. Validation results from material and media experts indicate that the application is categorized as "highly feasible" for use in the learning process. The implementation of MAMAMUL in classroom activities showed an improvement in students' comprehension of multiplication word problems, as evidenced by increased learning outcomes from pretest to posttest. In addition, student responses revealed that the application is engaging, easy to use, and helps them better understand problem-solving using Polya's four-step method. Therefore, MAMAMUL can serve as an effective and enjoyable alternative learning media to support mathematics instruction in elementary schools.
