    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Metode belajar Mind Mapping terhadap kemampuan pemahaman menafsirkan siswa SD, khususnya di kelas IV pada materi IPAS “Gaya di Sekitar Kita”. Penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain intact- group comparison. Sampel yang digunakan seluruh siswa kelas IV A dan IV B SDN 2 Setiamulya yang ditentukan dengan kelompok kontrol yaitu kelas IV A dan kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas IV B. Data kemampuan pemahaman menafsirkan dikumpulkan dengan teknik tes pilihan ganda dan uraian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen (66,97) lebih tinggi daripada nilai rata-rata kelompok kontrol (56,67). Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji-t dengan α = 0,05 diperoleh thitung > ttabel (5,059>1,668 ) maka Ho ditolak, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode belajar Mind Mapping berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman menafsirkan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disarankan kepada guru agar menerapkan metode belajar Mind Mapping sebagai model pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman menafsirkan siswa. This research aims to determine the effect of the Mind Mapping learning method on elementary school students' ability to understand and interpret, especially in class IV on the science material "Style Around Us". Quasi-experimental research with an intact-group comparison design. The sample used was all students in class IV A and IV B at SDN 2 Setiamulya which was determined by the control group, namely class IV A and the experimental class, namely class IV B. Data on interpreting comprehension ability was collected using multiple choice and description test techniques. The results of this study show that the average value of the experimental group (66.97) is higher than the average value of the control group (56.67). Based on the results of the t-test analysis with α = 0.05, tcount > ttable (5.059>1.668) means that Ho is rejected. It can be concluded that the Mind Mapping learning method has an effect on students' ability to understand and interpret. Based on these results, it can be suggested to teachers to apply the Mind Mapping learning method as a learning model to improve students' interpretive understanding abilities.
