Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Dasar-dasar Usaha Layanan Pariwisata, yang sebagian besar disebabkan oleh penggunaan model pembelajaran konvensional oleh guru. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa setelah implementasi model Project Based Learning bermedia Instagram. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, melibatkan 36 siswa kelas X Usaha Layanan Wisata 2 SMK Negeri 3 Tanjungpandan. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Motivasi belajar siswa menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, dari 51% pada pra-siklus menjadi 69% pada siklus I, dan mencapai 84% pada siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi Model Project Based Learning bermedia Instagram efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa melalui pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, kolaboratif dan berbasis proyek. Model ini juga relevan untuk menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang kreatif pada mata pelajaran Dasar-dasar Usaha Layanan Pariwisata. This study was motivated by the low learning motivation of students in the Basic Tourism Services subject, which was largely caused by the use of conventional teaching models by teachers. The main objective of this research is to identify the improvement in students' learning motivation after implementing the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model using Instagram as a medium. The research method employed is Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles involving 36 students of Class X Tourism Services 2 at SMKN 3 Tanjungpandan. Each cycle consisted of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Students' learning motivation showed a significant increase, from 51% in the pre-cycle stage to 69% in the first cycle and 84% in the second cycle. The results indicate that the implementation of the Project-Based Learning model using Instagram effectively enhances students' learning motivation through interactive, collaborative, and project-based learning. This model is also relevant for creating a creative learning environment in the Basic Tourism Services subject.
