    Abstract

    Penelitian ini menganalisis optimalisasi persediaan spare part di PT XYZ menggunakan metode Min-Max sebagai solusi atas sistem intuitif perusahaan yang belum optimal. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi PT XYZ adalah pengelolaan spare part yang belum efisien akibat fluktuasi permintaan, sering terjadinya stock out atau overstock, serta belum adanya acuan jelas dalam penentuan jumlah pemesanan yang tepat, yang berujung pada biaya persediaan tinggi. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan data sekunder high usage spare part periode Januari-Desember 2024, dengan lead time konstan 3 hari dan service level 96,96%. Analisis mencakup klasifikasi ABC, perhitungan metode perusahaan, serta perhitungan dan perbandingan biaya total persediaan menggunakan metode Min-Max. Hasil simulasi metode Min-Max menunjukkan kemampuan memberikan gambaran status persediaan yang lebih jelas, meskipun pada beberapa item masih terjadi kondisi overstock atau stock out, menandakan perlunya penyesuaian parameter lebih lanjut. Perbandingan biaya menunjukkan metode Min-Max menghasilkan total biaya persediaan tahunan yang lebih rendah, yaitu Rp17.385.408,80, dibandingkan metode perusahaan sebesar Rp112.627.588,92. Hal ini merepresentasikan efisiensi biaya sebesar 84,6%. Metode Min-Max terbukti efisien dalam meminimasi biaya persediaan, memberikan tingkat persediaan yang optimal, serta mendukung perencanaan pengadaan suku cadang yang lebih akurat dan terstruktur bagi perusahaan. This study analyzes the optimization of spare part inventory at PT XYZ using the Min-Max method as a solution to the company’s suboptimal intuitive system. The main problems faced by PT XYZ include inefficient spare part management due to demand fluctuations, frequent occurrences of stockouts or overstocking, and the absence of clear guidelines in determining the appropriate order quantity, which leads to high inventory costs. This quantitative research uses secondary data on high-usage spare parts from January to December 2024, with a constant lead time of 3 days and a service level of 96.96%. The analysis includes ABC classification, calculations using the company's current method, as well as the calculation and comparison of total inventory costs using the Min-Max method. The simulation results of the Min-Max method provide a clearer picture of inventory status, although several items still experience overstocking or stockouts, indicating the need for further parameter adjustments. The cost comparison shows that the Min-Max method results in a lower annual inventory cost of IDR Rp17.385.408,80, compared to the company's method at IDR Rp112.627.588,92, representing a 84,6% cost efficiency. The Min-Max method has proven effective in minimizing inventory costs, providing optimal stock levels, and supporting more accurate and structured spare part procurement planning for the company.
