    Abstract

    Penilaian sikap merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam pendidikan karakter, khususnya pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di sekolah dasar. Namun, dalam praktiknya, guru menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam melaksanakan penilaian sikap secara objektif dan autentik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman guru dalam melaksanakan penilaian sikap, mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi, serta menggali upaya guru dalam mengatasi kendala tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam terhadap tiga orang guru kelas IV, V, dan VI di salah satu sekolah dasar negeri di Kabupaten Sumedang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki pemahaman yang bervariasi dalam menerapkan penilaian sikap, yang dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman, kompetensi, dan ketersediaan instrumen. Kendala utama yang dihadapi guru meliputi keterbatasan waktu, banyaknya jumlah Peserta didik, serta kurangnya pemahaman tentang teknik penilaian yang sesuai. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, guru melakukan berbagai upaya seperti berkolaborasi dengan rekan sejawat, menyederhanakan instrumen penilaian, serta meningkatkan pemahaman melalui pelatihan mandiri. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan penilaian sikap masih menghadapi tantangan signifikan, namun guru menunjukkan komitmen dalam mengembangkan strategi penilaian yang lebih efektif. Implikasi dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan bagi pengembangan kebijakan dan pelatihan guru dalam penilaian sikap yang lebih komprehensif dan kontekstual. Attitude assessment is one of the important aspects of character education, especially in learning Pancasila Education in elementary school. However, in practice, teachers face various challenges in carrying out attitude assessments objectively and authentically. This research aims to explore teachers' experiences in carrying out attitude assessments, identify obstacles faced, and explore teachers' efforts in overcoming these obstacles. This research uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. Data was collected through observation and in- depth interviews with three teachers of grades IV, V, and VI at one of the public elementary schools in Sumedang Regency. The results showed that teachers have a varied understanding of implementing attitude assessment, which is influenced by experience, competence, and availability of instruments. The main obstacles faced by teachers include limited time, large number of students, and lack of understanding of appropriate assessment techniques. To overcome these obstacles, teachers make various efforts such as collaborating with peers, simplifying assessment instruments, and improving understanding through self-training. This study concludes that the implementation of attitude assessments still faces significant challenges, but teachers have shown commitment to developing more effective assessment strategies. The implications of this study are expected to be a reference for policy development and teacher training in a more comprehensive and contextual assessment of attitudes.
