    Abstract

    Penelitian memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan sebagai respons terhadap lemahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menyusun teks eksplanasi secara runtut dan sesuai struktur, yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan pemahaman terhadap kaidah teks serta rendahnya motivasi menulis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Design and Development (D&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Produk dikembangkan menggunakan platform Smart Apps Creator dan memuat materi ajar, video pembelajaran, kuis, fitur menulis, serta sistem koreksi otomatis. Hasil validasi menunjukkan skor kelayakan sebesar 85,33% dari ahli materi dan 96,36% dari ahli media, keduanya termasuk kategori sangat layak. Uji coba terhadap siswa kelas V SD menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini tergolong sangat praktis dengan skor 84,95% pada kelompok kecil dan 82,21% pada kelompok besar. Selain itu juga mendapatkan respon dari dua orang guru dengan skor 92,72%. Dengan demikian, aplikasi dinyatakan layak dan praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi, serta efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman struktur teks dan keterampilan menulis siswa secara mandiri dan interaktif. This application was developed in response to students' weak ability to compose explanatory texts coherently and structurally, caused by a limited understanding of text rules and low writing motivation. The research method used was Design and Development (D&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The product was developed using the Smart Apps Creator platform and includes teaching materials, learning videos, quizzes, writing features, and an automatic correction system. Validation results showed a feasibility score of 85.33% from material experts and 96.36% from media experts, both of which fall into the very feasibility category. A trial with fifth-grade elementary school students showed that this application was highly practical, with scores of 84.95% in small groups and 82.21% in large groups. In addition, it also received responses from two teachers with a score of 92.72%. Thus, the application was deemed feasible and practical for use in teaching explanatory text writing, and effective in improving students' understanding of text structure and writing skills independently and interactively.
