Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasi Simulator Struktur dan Tata Nama Senyawa Keton dalam memfasilitasi penguasaan konsep peserta didik pada materi struktur dan tata nama senyawa keton. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah 39 peserta didik kelas XI Kesehatan di Salah satu SMA Negeri di Kota Tangerang Selatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tiga tahap: pralapangan (analisis karakteristik simulator, model pembelajaran, dan pembuatan instrumen), pekerjaan lapangan (implementasi pembelajaran dan observasi keterlaksanaan), dan pascalapangan (analisis data dan pelaporan). Instrumen penelitian meliputi format analisis karakteristik media, format analisis model pembelajaran, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan soal tes penguasaan konsep berupa soal pilihan ganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Simulator Struktur dan Tata Nama Senyawa Keton mampu merepresentasikan konsep struktur dan tata nama senyawa keton yang bersifat konseptual dan direpresentasikan dalam bentuk simbolik melalui visualisasi interaktif dengan fasilitas drag-drop elemen molekul dan sistem validasi penamaan IUPAC. Model pembelajaran POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) menunjukkan paling sesuai dengan karakteristik simulator. Pembelajaran model POE secara keseluruhan dapat terlaksana dengan baik pada setiap sintaks. Penggunaan Simulator Struktur dan Tata Nama Senyawa Keton dengan model POE berperan dalam memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan penguasaan konsep peserta didik pada ketiga tujuan pembelajaran, dengan pencapaian tertinggi pada aspek identifikasi gugus fungsi keton. This study aims to implement the Structure and Nomenclature Simulator for Ketone Compounds in facilitating students' conceptual understanding of ketone compound structure and nomenclature materials. This research employs a qualitative method with descriptive approach using one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were 39 students of grade XI Health program at one of the public senior high schools in South Tangerang City. The research was conducted through three stages: pre-field (analysis of simulator characteristics, learning models, and instrument development), fieldwork (learning implementation and implementation observation), and post-field (data analysis and reporting). The research instruments included media characteristics analysis format, learning model analysis format, learning implementation observation sheet, and conceptual mastery test in the form of multiple-choice questions. The analysis results showed that the Structure and Nomenclature Simulator for Ketone Compounds is capable of representing ketone compound structure and nomenclature concepts that are conceptual in nature and represented in symbolic form through interactive visualization with drag-drop molecular elements features and IUPAC nomenclature validation system. The POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model demonstrated the highest compatibility with the simulator characteristics. The POE learning model implementation was successfully executed across all syntax stages. The use of Structure and Nomenclature Simulator for Ketone Compounds with POE model played a positive role in improving students' conceptual mastery in all three learning objectives, with the highest achievement in ketone functional group identification aspect.
