Abstract
Evaluasi properti psikometri dalam tes intelegensi sangat krusial untuk dilakukan guna memastikan keakuratan pengukuran. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis karakteristik psikometrik dan pengembangan norma baru untuk sub tes Figurenauswahl (FA) dalam Inteligenz-Struktur-Test versi 2005 (IST-2005). Dengan menggunakan metode ex-post facto dan teknik cross-sectional sampling, penelitian ini menganalisis data dari 22.654 responden dari berbagai jenjang pendidikan di Jawa Barat. Evaluasi dilakukan berdasarkan pendekatan Classical Test Theory (CTT) dan Item Response Theory (IRT) untuk menguji validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda, serta efektivitas distraktor. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa beberapa item perlu direvisi atau dihapus berdasarkan tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda, dan efektivitas distraktor. Meskipun sebagian besar item berfungsi dengan baik, terdapat beberapa item yang tidak memenuhi kriteria optimal, dengan tingkat kesalahan pengukuran yang masih harus diperbaiki. Sub tes FA menunjukkan validitas dan reliabilitas yang memadai dengan korelasi moderat terhadap sub tes lain dalam IST-2005. Analisis norma yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini, mengkonfirmasi pentingnya pembaruan norma IST-2005 agar tetap relevan dengan populasi saat ini. Hasil penelitian berimplikasi pada layanan bimbingan dan konseling, khususnya dalam pemanfaatan asesmen intelegensi sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan yang lebih akurat dalam perencanaan akademik dan karier. Evaluation of psychometric properties in intelligence tests is crucial to ensure measurement accuracy. This study focuses on analyzing the psychometric characteristics and developing new norms for the Figurenauswahl (FA) subtest in the Inteligenz-Structure-Test version 2005 (IST-2005). Using the ex-post facto method and cross-sectional sampling technique, this study analyzed data from 22,654 respondents from various levels of education in West Java. The evaluation was conducted based on Classical Test Theory (CTT) and Item Response Theory (IRT) approaches to test the validity, reliability, difficulty level, differentiating power, and effectiveness of distractors. The results of the analysis showed that some items needed to be revised or deleted based on the difficulty level, differentiating power, and effectiveness of the distractors. Although most items functioned well, there were some items that did not meet the optimal criteria, with the level of measurement error still to be corrected. The FA subtest showed adequate validity and reliability with moderate correlations to other subtests in the IST-2005. The norm analysis conducted in this study, confirmed the importance of updating the IST-2005 norms to remain relevant to the current population. The results of the study have implications for guidance and counseling services, particularly in the utilization of intelligence assessment as a basis for more accurate decision-making in academic and career planning.
