    Abstract

    ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh proses transformasi sosial yang terjadi secara signifikan dikarenakan kesadaran beberapa masyarakat terhadap kondisi sosial dan lingkungan yang memprihatinkan. Keresahan tersebut mendorong mereka melakukan perubahan melalui gerakan pemberdayaan berbasis lingkungan. Inisiatif ini kemudian mendorong keterlibatan kolektif masyarakat sehingga mencerminkan dinamika sosial yang bertumpu pada kepedulian lingkungan dan upaya membangun kehidupan yang berkelanjutan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan: 1) Strategi tokoh penggerak dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat, 2) Respon masyarakat dalam menyikapi inovasi, 3) Strategi tokoh penggerak dalam mempertahankan konsistensi masyarakat, 4) Dampak transformasi sosial terhadap lingkungan masyarakat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pada proses transformasi sosial, tokoh penggerak memainkan peran kunci dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya menjaga lingkungan melalui tiga strategi utama yaitu asosiasi positif, perbandingan, dan pengulangan. Strategi ini dijalankan dengan pendekatan personal dan partisipatif, perbandingan antar waktu dan ruang yang menjadi pembaharu dalam penelitian ini, serta edukasi berulang dan berkelanjutan melalui metode door to door, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Proses adopsi inovasi menunjukkan pola difusi, dimulai dari innovator dan early adopters hingga diterima oleh sebagian besar masyarakat dalam klasifikasi early majority dan sebagian kecil late majority sehingga mencerminkan proses sosial yang saling menguatkan. Konsistensi masyarakat menjaga perubahan didukung oleh sinergi penguatan pengetahuan, perilaku, peran role model, dan peningkatan manfaat yang diperoleh berupa benefit sosial maupun profit ekonomi. Dampak transformasi meliputi dampak jangka panjang yaitu memiliki kontrol sosial, identitas kolektif dan perluasan jaringan mitra, jangka menengah yaitu perubahan nilai dan norma, peningkatan kesejahteraan, dan terbentuknya budaya partisipatif, jangka pendek yaitu kepedulian kolektif masyarakat. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa perubahan sosial yang berkelanjutan memerlukan kepemimpinan lokal yang kuat, strategi komunikasi yang menyentuh kesadaran kolektif, serta keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam seluruh tahapan inovasi. Kata Kunci: Transformasi Sosial, Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, Lingkungan, Inovasi Sosial, Tokoh Penggerak This research is motivated by the process of social transformation that occurs significantly due to the awareness of some communities of the alarming social and environmental conditions. The unrest encouraged them to make changes through an environment-based empowerment movement. This initiative then encourages collective community involvement so that it reflects social dynamics that are based on environmental concerns and efforts to build a sustainable life. The purpose of this research is to analyze and describe: 1) The strategy of the driving figure in raising public awareness, 2) Community response in responding to innovation, 3) Strategy of driving figures in maintaining community consistency, 4) Impact of social transformation on the community environment. The research used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results showed that, in the social transformation process, the driving figure played a key role in increasing public awareness of the importance of protecting the environment through three main strategies, namely positive association, comparison, and repetition. This strategy is carried out with a personal and participatory approach, comparisons between time and space that become reformers in this study, as well as repeated and sustainable education through door to door methods, training, and mentoring. The innovation adoption process shows a diffusion pattern, starting from innovators and early adopters until it is accepted by most people in the early majority classification and a small portion of the late majority, thus reflecting a mutually reinforcing social process. Community consistency in maintaining change is supported by the synergy of strengthening knowledge, behavior, the role of role models, and increasing the benefits obtained in the form of social benefits and economic profits. The impact of transformation includes long-term impacts, namely having social control, collective identity and expansion of partner networks, medium-term changes in values and norms, welfare improvement, and the formation of a participatory culture, short-term, namely collective community concern. This research confirms that sustainable social change requires strong local leadership, communication strategies that touch collective consciousness, and active community involvement in all stages of innovation.
