    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap peningkatan keterampilan sosial siswa sekolah dasar kelas tiga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain kelompok kontrol non-ekuivalen. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen yang menerima pembelajaran menggunakan model TGT dan kelompok kontrol yang menerima pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi tes keterampilan sosial (Pretest dan pos tes). Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor pos tes kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol (p < 0,05). Selain itu, analisis N-Gain menunjukkan peningkatan pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar 0,175 (kategori rendah-sedang), sementara kelompok kontrol mengalami penurunan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa model TGT efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa melalui kegiatan pembelajaran kolaboratif dan kompetitif. Keterbatasan penelitian ini terletak pada cakupannya yang terbatas di satu sekolah dan periode intervensi yang relatif singkat. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan model TGT yang lebih luas dan berkelanjutan untuk memahami keterampilan sosial di sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran Kooperatif, Sekolah Dasar, Model Pembelajaran, Keterampilan Sosial, Turnamen Permainan Tim This study aims to examine the effect of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model on improving the social skills of third-grade elementary school students. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects consisted of two groups: the experimental group receiving learning using the TGT model and the control group receiving conventional learning. Data collection instruments included social skills tests (pretest and posttest). The results of statistical tests showed a significant difference between the posttest scores of the experimental and control groups (p < 0.05). In addition, the N-Gain analysis showed an increase in the experimental group of 0.175 (low-moderate category), while the control group experienced a decrease. These results indicate that the TGT model is effective in improving students' social skills through collaborative and competitive learning activities. The limitations of this study lie in its limited scope in one school and the relatively short intervention period. This study recommends a broader and more sustainable application of the TGT model for understanding social skills in elementary schools.
