    Abstract

    Minat belajar anak usia dini sangat dipengaruhi oleh metode dan media pembelajaran yang digunakan. Materi sains seperti tatasurya sering kali dianggap abstrak dan sulit dipahami oleh siswa PAUD jika di sampaikan secara konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan minat siswa sebelum dan setelah menggunakan media augmented reality dan seberapa signifikan media tersebut terhadap materi tata surya dalam meningkatkan minat siswa PAUD terhadap materi tata surya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental one group pretest posttest. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 13 siswa PAUD di salah satu lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini di Kabupaten Purwakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan pada minat siswa setelah dilakukannya perlakuan menggunakan media augmented reality dengan nilai signifikan Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.001 < 0.05. Hasil pretest menunjukkan sebagian besar minat siswa berada pada dimensi triggered situational interest, namun setelah perlakuan terjadi peningkatan minat secara menyeluruh di semua dimensi, menandakan adanya perkembangan minat yang lebih stabil dan mendalam. Dengan demikian, media augmented reality terbukti memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan minat siswa PAUD terhadap materi tata surya. ----- Early childhood learning interest is greatly influenced by the teaching methods and media used. Science subjects such as the solar system are often considered abstract and difficult for early childhood education students to understand when taught using conventional methods. This study aims to determine the difference in students' interest before and after using augmented reality media and how significant this media is in enhancing preschool students' interest in solar system material. The study employs a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were 13 preschool students at an early childhood education institution in Purwakarta Regency. The results showed a significant increase in students' interest after the treatment using augmented reality media, with a significant value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.001 < 0.05. The pretest results showed that most of the students' interest was in the triggered situational interest dimension, but after the intervention, there was an overall increase in interest across all dimensions, indicating more stable and deeper interest development. Thus, augmented reality media has been proven to have a significant impact on increasing preschool students' interest in solar system material.
