Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep dan profil miskonsepsi siswa melalui penerapan model ECIRR berbantuan media simulasi virtual serta skala sikap siswa. Penelitian quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Pretest Postest Control Group Design dilakukan di kelas X di salah satu SMA Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran ECIRR berbantuan media simulasi virtual secara signifikan dapat lebih meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa daripada pembelajaran tradisional berbantuan media simulasi virtual terlihat dari kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan dengan kategori tinggi, sedangkan kelas kontrol kategori sedang. Hasil dari tes three tier test persentase miskonsepi paling besar ditemukan pada subkonsep radiasi baik pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, pada pembelajaran ECIRR miskonsepsi siswa yang terindentifikasi terdapat 5 buah.. The purpose of this study is to investigate the increased of students’ concept understanding and misconceptions profile through the implementation of ECIRR model assisted by media virtual simulation and students’ atittude scale. Quasy experimental with a Nonequivalent pretest postest control group design conducted in 10th grade in one senior high school in Bandung. The results showed that the learning of ECIRR assisted by media virtual simulation can significantly improve student’s concept understanding with higher categories than the traditional method assisted by media virtual simulation with medium category. The results of three tier test showed that the biggest misconception persentage found in radiation concept in both class (experimental and controll class), in learning of ECIRR students misconception are identified about 5 misconceptions.
