Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kreativitas anak yang disebabkan oleh metode pembelajaran yang masih konvensional dan kurangnya variasi media. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui media mozaik berbahan limbah rautan pensil di TK X Purwakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Penelitian ini menggunakan subjek penelitian sejumlah 9 anak kelompok B3 dengan objek penelitian media mozaik berbahan limbah rautan pensil. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kreativitas anak melalui implementasi media mozaik berbahan limbah rautan pensil. Pada siklus I dengan persentase 45% yang masuk dalam kategori Mulai Berkembang (MB), siklus II dengan persentase 74% Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH), dan siklus III dengan persentase 87,5% Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB). Berdasarkan data hasil analisis, dapat dikatakan bahwa kreativitas anak berkembang sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan yang telah ditetapkan, yaitu fluency (kelancaran), flexibility (keluwesan berpikir), originality (orisinalitas), dan elaboration (penguraian) dalam melakukan setiap tahapan kegiatan pada setiap siklusnya. ----- This research is motivated by the low creativity of children caused by conventional learning methods and lack of media variations. This study aims to improve the creativity of children aged 5-6 years through mosaic media made from pencil sharpener waste in Kindergarten X Purwakarta. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with the Kemmis and McTaggart model. This study used 9 children in group B3 as research subjects with mosaic media made from pencil sharpener waste as research objects. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, documentation, and interviews with data analysis techniques using qualitative and quantitative descriptive approaches. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in children's creativity through the implementation of mosaic media made from pencil sharpener waste. In cycle I with a percentage of 45% included in the category of Starting to Develop (MB), cycle II with a percentage of 74% Developing According to Expectations (BSH), and cycle III with a percentage of 87.5% Developing Very Well (BSB). Based on the analysis data, it can be said that children's creativity develops according to the established success indicators, namely fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration in carrying out each stage of activity in each cycle.
