    Abstract

    Lebih dari 3 juta anak yatim di Indonesia berdasarkan data Kementerian Sosial (2021) tinggal di dalam keluarga tidak mampu dengan beban peran ganda ibu tunggal yang menyebabkan anak yatim berada dalam kerentanan berbagai aspek, sementara dukungan pemberdayaan berkelanjutan dari pihak lain seperti lembaga sosial masih terbatas baik dari segi keterampilan pengurus maupun pemanfaatan modal sosial untuk membangun kerjasama. Penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana proses pemberdayaan anak yatim di Yayasan Al Ruhama’a Yatim Center Kota Bogor dijalankan oleh para pengurus dengan kondisi mayoritas adalah perempuan, menganalisis komponen modal sosial yang diaktualisasikan, serta menganalisis dampak berkelanjutan dan evaluasi pemberdayaan yayasan bagi purna yatim. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif metode studi kasus data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan model Miles dan Huberman (1992). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Fokus proses pemberdayaan adalah membentuk kesadaran pendidikan melalui kerjasama relasi dengan memberi motivasi setiap pekan, beasiswa pendidikan dan berupaya menjadikan ibu tunggal sebagai aktor sentral pemberdayaan anaknya melalui pemaknaan peran perempuan dan strategi emotion-focused coping berbasis tradisi Sunda yang ditanggungjawabi per wilayah oleh pengurus perempuan; (2) Aktualisasi modal sosial jejaring melalui bonding social capital pengurus perempuan, implementasi norma dan nilai secara non-formal, dan kepercayaan terbentuk melalui kapabilitas pengurus perempuan melaporkan pengelolaan dan hasil program serta reputasi keluarga yang berkualitas; (3) Pemberdayaan menghasilkan purna yatim dan ibunya yang sadar akan pendidikan, purna yatim mandiri secara ekonomi dan mampu menciptakan lapangan kerja, serta aktif kembali di Yayasan dengan evaluasi reflektif dari pengalaman mereka. Kata Kunci: Anak yatim, Modal sosial, Pemberdayaan, Pengurus perempuan More than 3 million orphans in Indonesia, based on data from the Ministry of Social Affairs (2021), live in underprivileged families with the burden of double roles on single mothers, causing children to be vulnerable in various aspects. Meanwhile, continuous empowerment support from other parties such as social institutions is still limited in terms of managerial skills and the utilization of social capital to build cooperation. This study analyzes how the empowerment process of orphans at Al Ruhama’a Orphan Center Foundation in Bogor City is conducted by managers, the majority of whom are women with multiple roles, examines the social capital components actualized, and analyzes the sustainable impact and evaluation of the foundation’s empowerment programs for alumni orphans. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies, then analyzed based on the Miles and Huberman model (1992). The findings show: (1) The focus of empowerment is to build educational awareness through relational cooperation, weekly motivation programs, educational scholarships, and to position single mothers as central actors in their children's empowerment through new role meaning and emotion-focused coping strategies rooted in Sundanese tradition, managed per region by female staff; (2) Social capital is actualized through the bonding social capital of female managers, non-formal implementation of norms and values, and trust is built based on the managers’ capability in program reporting and quality family reputation; (3) Empowerment outcomes include alumni orphans and their mothers who are aware of education, independent in terms of economy and job creation, and who actively return to the foundation with reflective evaluations from their own experiences.
